Damn I started last week and I’m only seeing blocks for 53-$63 smh. If I saw $100 blocks I would do 2 a day but at $63 for the work it’s Just not worth it.
Yeah, I usually only get a few per week. I never take any at the base rate. My minimum is $25/hr for this app since the mileage is unpredictable
$2.23/mile gross compensation. The IRS standard mileage deduction is $0.67. If we assume that amount is enough to cover fuel, maintenance, and other vehicle expenses, we get $1.56 net compensation. And of course you can deduct the mileage which reduces your tax liability. So, total compensation $1.56/mile * 48.2 miles = $75.19, or $25/hour net wage. All things considered, not really too bad for what is essentially unskilled labor (no offense) that can be done on a flexible schedule when you feel like doing it.
Haha none taken :) I agree, you need a flexible schedule. Or at least shouldn’t fully rely on it. That’s why I made the shift to part time W-2 with the intention to go full time. Hopefully do these apps then for extra cash and to boost goals like saving for a house, etc.
You should do a Overhead review on this I'm sure you're 30+ an hour will drop once you take in consideration fuel and car maintenance.
Oh absolutely. I have a video that breaks down all the costs associated but I can start putting in a little section for these kinds of vids.
