You need to watch her brilliant performance in the 2018 movie "Love Sonia" (also starring Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee, Adil Hussain, Richa Chadda, Rajkumar Rao) She is a very good actress and Bollywood shouldn't typecast her. I'm noticing that she is getting quite a few similar kind of roles i.e. the "Lovely Supportive Wife/GF" roles. Example: 1) Supported Hrithik in "Super 30" 2) Supported John Abraham in "Batla House" 3) Seems like once again she is gonna be the supporter/motivator of Farhan in "Toofan" 4) And she is gonna play Shahid's wife's role in the hindi remake of "Jersey" so she'll be playing Sraddha Srinath's role from the original "Jersey" so it's gonna be another similar type of role for her. I feel like she should choose a different kind of project/role. She has immense talent but she shouldn't become repetitive/monotonous/one dimensional with her choice of roles/characters.

Yes the trailer did gave way everything. My guess is that it's a remake of Sultan with Farhan boxing as opposed to Salman wrestling. But Farhan may tell the story in a lot more grounded way.

I'm a true blue boxing fan, watched every damn heavyweight bout in the 90's. Always was a George Foreman fan, loved watching his old bouts and his return to the top of the boxing rankings in the early 90's and this trailer reminds me of his return to boxing as the Preacher. 👍👍
I’m a simpleton that loves sports films and enjoys the formula regardless, but I’m certain Farhan is indeed too smart to not have a twist. The transformation is real and he seems BRILLIANT in this, extra brilliant and I hope it goes as big as it seems cause he deserves it. Ever since gimmicky awards snubbed Farhan and Abhay Deol in favour of romantic fixation on Hrithik and Katrina in ZNMD, I’m personally invested in mega mainstream success for them. Not that Farhan isn’t super well known and appreciated, but still, GIVE HIM EVEN MORE. The female lead looks so great too!! Takes a strong presence to believably exert influence on a brilliant main character built like a bull in the span of a trailer.

What height can a portrayal of Indian boxing in films go after Mukkebaaz. Definitely not this. It'll definitely be good as the trailer is decent but I have never seen enough praise for Mukkebaaz. You're wrong Korbin. The boxing scenes look lethargic. Just compare the scene in Hurricane, where he's training in the cell with the scene. A 22 year old movie from 1999, managed to capture the rhythm and more importantly, the pacing of a being in the gym with a champion. The boxing scenes here look flat. I wonder why... it just looks flashy. India has some great fight choreographers. Wish they had worked on this.
@@shazam1334Oh yes. That was a sad state. Rob Miller from ReelSports Inc got the contract to choreograph the fights for the Mary Kom movie. Can't find much info on Toofaan's fight choreographer. Farhan Akhtar trained for some time for this role. Which is why it's surprising the way the fights are cut. Perhaps the fight choreography was over-ruled by the lead cinematographer. Found it. Darrell Foster (Ali with Will Smith) worked with Farhan on this movie. That's odd. Perhaps that's why he's not listed on IMDB
