Hunder Dok is tiny village comprising of only 95 people (seriously only 24 families on the official record) in the Nubra Valley region of Ladakh. It is situated south west of the Hunder town. A jeep/ bolero/ heavy duty small vehicle can take you on a 10 km unpaved road till a point and from there one can trek up to the village in an hour and a half (approx. 5 kms). All along the way while trekking up you can hear the stream gushing through the alley of huge rocky mountains. This body of water ends up in River Shyok. It is a sight and honestly, it made made me dizzy quite a few times.
