My mom always used a pressure cooker and she had a big old fashion one. She would take what ever what was ever was left over in the fridge and what was on sale and we would eat really good.

Omg o made this it is so Freeking good. I made a couple adjustments. I added a can of creamed corn and I used a cup of cream and a cup of mild and no rue. Hubby ❤️❤️❤️ it! Had it was it some bread machine oatmeal bread. Will def redo again! ❤

It is so good, I've made it 4 times and never had any leftovers to freeze! Everyone at Jeff's work who tried it loved it as well.

Heavy-duty foil for the rue?
Any kind will be fine. I think mine is heavy duty though, but I wouldn't purchase it special.

Wondering if I could use carrots instead of celery? My family isn't a fan of celery.
Carrots may change the color of the chowder, but are fine to use. You can also just skip the celery.
Carrots are full of sugar....may change the flavor profile
