My soul dog Ellie passed away a few years ago. She could sense when I was pregnant all 5 times...sometimes before a pregnancy test could confirm it. Without her, I wouldn't have endured the loss of 4 of my pregancies to miscarriage. She adored my Dad and she knew he was sick and would slather him with kisses. He had terminal cancer and she knew it was getting closer. She was extremely smart. She loved cats. Her ability to read emotions and ailments was my greatest blessing. Because of her, I was able to know super early on that I was pregnant with my son and take the medication I needed to save him in utero. I owe her so much and I miss her beyond words or comprehension. We have a male dog that we adopted since her passing, he is all heart & fluff and sometimes it is like it is having a piece of her with us again but my heart will always grieve for my ultimate protector Ellie. She spoke to my soul unlike any furbaby or person...I never had to say a word to her...she just knew. I am so happy this lady and her furbaby have such an amazing connection.

@Interfacer Nope, we were just trying to have one baby...it just took us longer and put us through alot of sorrow on our journey to being parents.
My dog also knew when I got preg after a couple of miscarriages. I lost faith in being able to have a baby but then one day he was acting very different and I decided to take a test and bam its a positive. I couldn't believe it, 😁
I’m so glad Ellie was there to comfort you through such sad, difficult times and help you to enjoy the best of times, you’ve given back to her memory by adopting your new buddy, but your right our beautiful 4 legged friends take a little piece of our hearts each time they go, wish they lived longer. Health and happiness to you and your family.

Love her! I had a soul dog, she was a black pittie and her name was Akira ❤️🐾. The only reason I made it when my dad passed away was because of her love and constant companionship. I had to put my sweet and loving girl down almost 7 years ago 💔. There is not a day that passes that I don't think about her. She touched my soul and I will forever be grateful and honored that I got to be her mom 😢♥️❤️🐾

Seriously, you and raw dude. You act like you know pitbull breeds and talk about breed lines, but you completely dismiss the last 164 years that have been done with this breed. Just because the MAJORITY of the breed were no longer being bred for fighting, as they SHOULDN'T be doesn't make them NOT pitbulls. There are BILLIONS of dogs that ARE purebred, but DON'T have papers! Because MOST people do NOT want to enter their dogs in dog shows. Which is the ONLY reason to have documentation of the bloodline. NOT to mention, since the AKC wanted nothing to do with the breed, they didn't have papers for this breed. And old raw dog commenter always spats off at these specific "bloodlines" which absolutely mean NOTHING for the breed now. The old English Bulldog and the bull terrior have been modified over the years, but they ARE still purebred. Shall I go over the entire process to explain how you change certain traits about a breed, using the SAME breeds that created said new breed?
I have two rescue dogs and they have brought new meaning to the term "who rescued who?" All I want to do everyday is going home to my doggies and love and snuggle them.

I have said it for years and a lot of people scoff but I believe that all animals, dogs especially do understand us and do talk back with their barks and noises yes but more than that they talk with their eyes, face/expressions, tounge, tail, paws and whole body sometimes. You have a beautiful dog with a beautiful personality that cares and expresses with cuddles and licks, pure love, true love and you have stolen my heart, 😍😍💞🐶🐾👍

That's so important, animals is true healers for several health problems. I think we've all had a soul dog. Mine was Monte, one of our dachshunds. I can barely type this without tears, and it's been years. Hopefully we are allowed more than 1 soul dog in our lifetime.
