I'm just gonna say this. Haven't listened to Conquer Divide in years but I think, depending how 2021 holds up y'all need to tour with absolutely badass all lady thrash metalers Nervosa! I think it would be a solid show to go to!

I don't play drums, but they've always fascinated me and this is inspiring. I play music rhythm games that require very precise timing and coordination, so maybe I should take a crack at it. Hoping CD starts touring again, so I can see my first concert in 8 long years

So….late to the party. Like a bazillion other people, I got to know Conquer Divides music from Electric Callboy. Honestly wish I had been exploring earlier than now. Anyway, I’m a guitarist/bassist/keyboardist/wannabe producer. I have a kit…and I’m awful. I can program enough drums to get by. But dear lord, as someone who has actually tried (and failed miserably) to actually be a drummer, I gotta say, you’re disgustingly good. I know it’s silly, but I’m SO IMPRESSED with your cymbal mutes! You make it look so easy! I tried that ONCE and ended up needing stitches! Luckily I was by myself and told everyone I cut myself shaving. Seriously, you’re incredible. If I find I drummer as talented as you, I might even stop using machines. Well…for drums at least.

I think this is a better Mix than the original track, the drums are too quiet in the original track compared to the Vocals. (The drums are obviously slightly too loud here but it's a play through so there are intentionally supposed to be but I think it works better.) A good example of band with a spot on Drum mix is Architects. In the the original Nightmare track the drum mix is weak in the chorus especially the Snare and Kick.
The breakdown is a perfect example the scream is way to high in the mix. Sometimes the kick sounds like a wet fart. Overall obviously I am a fan and I like the track but you get my point.

It's tough because the drums should always match the music rather than just showing what I'm capable of, but hopefully you'll like what the band has coming out, and I'll be trying to post more videos on here as well.
