  • Its time to take apart the Samsung Flip 3! Get a 4-week trial, free postage, and a digital scale at www.stamps.com/jerryrig. Thanks to Stamps.com for sponsoring this video! The Z Flip 3 is one of the most futuristic smartphones on the planet... so far. With a folding screen in the middle it can take a pocket sized square and turn it into a full size smartphone rectangle. Cross your fingers that the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 can survive my teardown.

      Word of advice: BUY THE SILICON CASE!!! The commercials are fucking liars. There is no way in hell, that this phone could be sat on the roof of a car to take a video. It is so slick, that unless the surface was PERFECTLY FLAT AND LEVEL, the phone will be on the ground.
      With the silicon case, it will stay on it's own. It's nice to be able to sit it on your chest or a pillow and watch, while laying down.

    This is personally my favorite folding phone yet,
    It’s small, compact and pocketable yet still has a good screen size
    And most of all it doesn’t empty your wallet as bad as a $1800 foldable

    • @MrMozkoZrout
      @MrMozkoZrout Před 2 lety +2

      Hm tho the only benefit you get from it is reducing normal phone into a small square. Usually reasonably big normal phone reaches around same pocketability as this one. I think that it makes big difference mostly to girls that need to fit it into a small purse or their pockets. Tradeoff tho is a fragile phone with bad battery life. Now Fold on the other hand that one changes a small table that noone can comfortably pocket into a size of a normal phone and i see that as a way bigger benefit worth of that durability tradeoff.

    • @MrTARIQSs
      @MrTARIQSs Před 2 lety +2

      @@MrMozkoZrout I'd argue that it's far less fragile than my old phone.
      My S10+'s screen factory screen protector got completely scratched up in a month
      While my z-flip 3 still remained factory fresh 2 months later because the screen is always protected inside
      The camera is much more usable too, you don't need a dumb kickstand to prop it while recording videos, you can just fold it and adjust the angle by as much as you'd like which was super useful to me.

    • @randaranatunga7259
      @randaranatunga7259 Před 2 lety

      @@MrTARIQSs nah I think the durability takes quite the hit and becomes quite a trade off when it comes to durability
      Cuz you’re losing water and dust resistance alongside an actually glass screen….

    • @MrTARIQSs
      @MrTARIQSs Před 2 lety

      Another useful feature for me was the fact that I could actually have the top part facing me when I have the phone on a table so I can watch the videos without all the lights reflecting on the screen, keyboard is also perfectly split for the bottom part, so you could have kind of a tiny laptop experience when chatting

    • @MrTARIQSs
      @MrTARIQSs Před 2 lety

      @@randaranatunga7259 it's literally water resistant though
      I had my phone submerged and no issues whatsoever, it's IPX8 rated after all
      Dust isn't a concern either, just watch Zack's previous durability test video, it did not mind dust getting in whatsoever
