  • Chamath Palihapitiya is a Silicon Valley staple. He's a tech billionaire, he owns the Golden State Warriors pro-basketball team, and he has a devoted online following. He’s also behind some of the biggest IPOs of the past year thanks to something called a SPAC. And while he didn’t invent SPACs, he's used them to forever change how companies go public.

The problem with the SPAC is that they're not ready just yet. This was not even a year ago, and people are expecting profits with Tech companies. It's like, really??? I'm glad a waited on them, but I'm ready to pounce right now. SoFi, Proterra, Lucid. I've put in 30% of my savings in those 3 companies.. and I'm ready.
I bought Moderna at 50.00 and people called me an idiot. They said the company was guily of insider trading , etc.. now they are $400.00+. You got to know when to time these tech stocks. I'm not expecting huge gains right away, but I'm betting we are right at the bottom for the tech SPACs.. and I'm putting my money where my mouth is now

Which part of crypto is a scam? Maybe some currencies are scammy, but not the fundamental principle behind it ( blockchain technology ). It’s up to you to form your opinion, but as someone who works with the technology behind it, I’m very confident it will last a really really long while. Just to make it clear, I have not invested in crypto, I’m just working on using blockchain technology for P2P energy sharing ( amongst other technologies).

This piece feels odd... feels like instead of discovering a story, they decided to tell a specific story and find evidence to back it up... kinda curious what happened with all the other spacs since they only focused on clov, and doing some basic research on clov. It legitimately looks like a potential great buy a current pricing and their growth rate if they can show plans to turn a profit. Reminds me of people 10 years ago saying amazon losses money every year so it’s a bad company, but clearly it was part of the plan to reinvest everything made, (not comparing it to amazon, just comparing the negative spin without reference to the companies future guidance)
