Thanks for the info about scs being stronger for those that break parts-I hadnt realized that. My son keeps snapping bars at the slit and its getting ridiculous so now I'm thinking of just getting him an scs complete to see if we can hang on to some bars for more than 6 months.
get steel bars and scs or even better get titanium with scs but its more expensive
I recently got a scs clamp and I watched a couple of videos about it but non of them talked about the spacer. Now I fully understand scs compression thanks👍👍

Omg thank you! I've been battling my son's envy after getting him a new headset and I was so dam lost on why it wouldnt go back together right! Lol I'm such a idiot haha I was using the new ring the headset came with instead of the one that fits it and I couldn't figure out why the shim was dropping down into the neck! Ugh I tried everything! Well lookslike I'll be taking it apart tomarow for the 3rd time to finnaly get it right! Thanks again I was so pissed haha

@@DCW121 I cut my 6 Yr old's steel MGP bars down following advice from a scooter dad. As a commercial pipefitter I had no problem working with steel tubing. I even had an inside/outside reamer. I never thought I'd find myself needing these skills for my kids!

Leo Hawthorne no it's hic the bolt is small, also in the product description it says hic. My friend has ihc and there are big differences to prove that

Funny thing is, HIC is the way to go if you want the lightest setup. The aztek circa is the lightest fork and its HIC. Pair that with titanium bars and a light double clamp and your chillin

I ride mini hic (crisp inception) and it’s really hard to find bars that fit it. I was looking for days, but decided on the Lucky aluminum bars. Hopefully they work well.

hey, my nearest skatepark is 5 kilometers away so I have to get on my bike to get over there. an entire scooter doesnt fit on my bike so i have to take my deck and bar apart everytime i want to go. Do you have some tips on what is easiest to put my bar an deck apart/together.
Im pretty sure you need a c ring for your bottom headset bearing aswell.

I can’t find this information anywhere. I just got the envy union v2 bars and I wanted to take the clamp off of my old prodigy bars, but it’s stuck. Is it impossible to get the clamp off the bars with IHC? Or is it just more difficult?

I have the Phoenix recon bars for ihc compression. I am wanting to get envy reaper bars (aluminum) but I don’t know if it will fit? Because my friend has a envy prodigy s6 and when I put on the bars from his scooter on to mine it was to wide (IHC)

i have a mix of ihc and hic, what is that called?
it has an hic bolt, hic shim, but it has an ihc ring, and the topcap gets put on after the shim
you will need the tilt scs with some district forks like mine
If I get some blunt reaper bars could I saw the slit to fit scs
