I was looking to see HOW you use one of these. I have a different one but it has 2 knobs. Load and tune. Which ones do you turn and why yo get what desired action?
Hello there! Can you tell please what's inside the tuner if you know? I need some air variable capacitors and I don't know if I can "canibalize" this unit. Thanks!!
Just got one for trying to match a inverted V di-pole inside my garage roof which stubbornly refuses to play ball on 27mhz although it's fine on other frequencies. Time will tell if it solves the issue.
Hi John, There a bit fiddly to set up. I had a probulem with 10m. great on 11m. Inverted V di-pole great antenna for ssb. I think the best thing to do is build a resonant dipole for that band 468 Divided by the frequency all in feet. Best 73 Roger
How much power does this little macher survive ? ( .. looking at the nice Zetagi booster in the background with its large heat sink, I guess it may easily provide 400 Whiskeys ... )So I would not dare to put the matcher in between this animal and the antenna .. where it should be to optimize impedance ?? 73 de 79HER215 from the Swiss/german border at lake of Constance, located at 600m Note, if nasty icecold stormy winds will vanish, I will repair my Yagi antenna to return to 11m after 15 years ... in old times it was possible to reach UK easily on QRP - MODE , i.e. 10 Whiskeys .. however during last years I could hardly receive UK stations, so calling doesnt make sense .. guess MUV is far too low for 10/11m
Hi Mike i have run the CRT SS9900 flat out about 60 watts seems OK. They say you can run a 100w into it but i wouldn't Lol. Only running a vertical antenna this way. The bands haven't been all that good on Hf bands. VHF has been good this way on the south coast of UK All the very best Roger 26CT1474.
Got one in order. Using mobile with my Tank whip. Looks pretty good too for the money.
Hi Mark they tune very well on 27mhz ok on the tank whip great antenna. All the very best Roger
Thanks Foggy. Some great videos.
I’ve got the same problem big hands fat fingers. But I managed some how with the 9900 great radio and video.
I've heard good things about the 9900, might even get misen one
I now have the matcher. The 9900 and the Audioline 345. Same as Uniden. Funny that.

I fine tune with the left nob. You only have to move the right one a little. You will soon find a good spot. 73

@@radiosonic0007 Thanks - first tests of the matcher suggests it's working great on 27mhz.
Which antenna are you using this with?
A sireo 5/8 wave the MM27 did a good job
Anyone know what power these can safely handle, please?
Zetagi say 100W, but they exaggerate ratings.
