I dont know if this helps but my grandfather use to do this trick when he couldnt read signed items and he would take a piece of tissue paper and a charcoal place the paper on the signiture and lightly rub the charcoal on it and it becomes easier to read on the paper cause it transfers to it. It doesnt always work and of course not doing it when buying an item but I figured once you get something home and are trying to figure out where it came from that this might help you. I hope it does

That beveled edge on the yellow glass vase to prevent chips is called a chamfer. It's often seen in woodworking.

Love that orange lamp. So different and strange.
Those P. Garnier vintage decanters at 11:40ish are only listed at $11.50 each, but that fellow designed some very beautiful and sweet figural sculptures for some of his other liqueur bottle work. I was attracted to the name because one of my prize possessions is a large Jean Garnier art nouveau bronze/gilt 3 sided vase with different fairy vignette scenes on it. I paid $350 for it, and didn't eat for two weeks. I love it madly!
I'm going to look and see if P. Garnier is related, as both are French decorative sculptors.
