In the U.K. a lot of our different shops, have " no music on " & " no stock trolleys out " for people with autism etc, 2 hours in the morning & 2 hours in the afternoon

I had to laugh when you used the Lufkin tape measure and then put it back on the shelf. One of the first things I sold on eBay was a vintage Lufkin tape measure in it’s original box that belonged to a family friend. I was shocked when it sold for $53! Now I keep my eye out for them but haven’t found another one yet.

Wow, I just had a childhood memory that I had completely forgotten about! I had one of those Spanish Señora dolls when I was little and truly hadn’t thought about her until you pulled her off the shelf. That was a little walk down memory lane for me ❤️

@@laraemitchell9064 if you go to Renn Faires they sell them there for a pretty penny. There is a little cord you run down your sleeve that allows you to make the creature move somewhat.
Interesting video. I like seeing what other dealers/vendors/resellers are doing. We have all our vintage Halloween out in our booths since Aug 1 and are making 4x more than other months. Customers are buying the next holiday 3 months in advance.
FYI, you passed by several vintage Japan Halloween pumpkin planters worth between $50-$90. Relco, Napco, etc. That's just from what could catch.

Most of K's Collection is from the 90s and early 2000s as a throw back to when Dollar Tree was associated with K&K later KB Toys. They don't make out anymore.
I'm just amazed at how long these Chinese chachkeys have lasted!
I have heard the reason the the smaller nesting bowl is missing because kids ate cereal out of them and the over use bound to get broken when kids are involved.

First store had so cute stuff. The second had some good stuff. The weird looking dalls( ? ) where cute. All the Halloween at the 2nd store was cute as well. Baby planter in store 3 was cute. LOVE the lady in the purple dress. As all ways live it all.
I found on of those eagle heads, but it didn't have the egg. I purchased it thinking it would be great for an assemblage piece. Of course, it has been sitting on my desk for almost 2 years. Thanks for the great video. I love looking for vintage holiday stuff.

The good wills on the east cost are so big and full of things. When I was in Ca there may have been 2 longer isles of stuff but mostly junk.

On your second stop (store), in the carts, that qorgeous antigue dinnerware didn't even glitch on your radar. For the life of me, I can't remember the name, perhaps Limoge but I wouldn't have passed on it, irregardless..
My favorite thing this video was that beautiful China in the cart, you did not look at.
Dollar Tree. :) But K's Collection is technically vintage because they haven't had figurines like that since the early 00's.
At the second store you passed up a Franciscan Ivy Divided Platter. Those can sell for $50 and up. The rest of the pattern doesn't sell for that much but those platters don't often show up. I have the entire set but would love to have another one of those!

I collected fiesta for a while. Got tired of it. Tried to sell on eBay with no luck whatsoever. Ended up selling whole set on marketplace for $100.00. I didn’t really loose money because it was purchased for my home. However, that being said I sold it at about 20% of what I paid for it.
Sometimes I pretend that I’m a lover of contemporary items and fabricate names of the makers and cost of the items that are poo pooed for their contemporary selves. 😂

Our GW's around Myrtle Beach are so lacking, they pull any good things for their online shop, and just put all the CRAPPY STUFF on the shelves, I have all but quit going...🙄

I’ll be checking more closely now for those hidden chips because one of my local goodwills hid a chip with a sticker recently ..grr. I should have known since it was stuck in an odd spot but it was something I grabbed quickly as I was heading to the checkout & I didn’t think to check it. It was a neat southwestern tile too 😔

The music box plays Für Elise by Beethoven. He had a student that was very pretty with next to no talent. He wrote this for her to copy because it was easy. She was oblivious to his intentions and wanted to quit the piano. He was so disappointed and distraught that he made the last part of the piece so advanced it was impossible for her to ever play it.
Should have bought the stone carving even with the chunk out of it. It's old Chinese and currently the Chinese Americans are buying back these vintage and antique items and sending them back to their relatives in China. Even in that condition, 100 to 150 isn't out of line.
First time I remember hearing it was in the movie Man From Snowy River. Still my all time favorite movie ever! 💜

When it comes to the Fenton animals, they look like a child’s toy. So always pick it up and feel it I have almost left them on the shelf because I thought it was a plastic toy.

If I'm not mistaken the Fenton Bear was a Birthstone Bear I have one I think yours is missing the Birthstone around it's neck my Birthstone is Diamond so my Bear has the clear around its neck I got mine on QVC way back in the day
