Thinking about grabbing one of these as prices are good on brand new one since mk8 is coming out soon. 31k for brand new 2021..was going to try to get a golf R but they are a little too expensive and insurance would be much more also. ..for a fun daily I think a gti would do.
Just bought a 2021 GTI SE. I'm coming from a 2011 GTI. I was in the car all night just playing with the features. Sucks you can't put the boost gauge on the infotainment system
My 19 GLI has the option to show 4 different performance gauges on the infotainment screen (real-time g forces, torque, boost pressure etc). I could have sworn you could do the same on these GTIs in the past. Not sure why they removed it, but that doesn’t take away from it being the best hot hatch and one of the best cars I’ve ever driven (especially in 6 speed form). 21:51 ~ Speed limit on that road, according to the sign, is 25 mph. Can't blame the guy in front of you for taking it slow. My neck of the woods a 25 mph sign means you go over 30, you either get pulled over immediately or you get your speeding ticket computer generated and mailed to you thanks to the hidden speed cameras. I can think of better things I can do with $50.oo than send it to some miserable thief with a government job who robs the Working Class in a legal but still unethical manner. And where I live, they officially change the speed limits in neighborhoods but wait a few days before putting up the signs. A nice scam. You can steal more money with a government job than you can with a gun and mask. Plus, no risk of jail.

@@charlep3962 yeah it's not there. Maybe it's on the S model but it's definitely not on the SE model. Maybe it can unlocked with the OBD 11
