as a person who used to work w my bro at dodge fca dealership ik just about everything their is to know about mopars. However if you going for straight speed, the chrysler is the smallest and lightest out of the charger and challenger. this is why hellact swapped 300s are faster than hellcats themselves. Everything mopar is interchangeable dont let no one tell you diff. Also the weak point for the earlier mopars is the 5 speed. Great trans in general but again, for speed, you want to look into the hp90 or 8hp ( cheaper than the 90 ) the 8 speed is a bit diff from the NAG so you DO have to do a few other supporting mods but the trans is better suited and keeps the hemi in its power band instead of bogging in lower gears. Pair that with a 3.09 diff and you will truly wake the car up. However powertrain aside the main weak point is the susp, i would suggest you upgrade/replace the stock bushing, arms, sway bars, swap to coilovers. Essentially replace the entire susp system because that IS trash unfortunately but no car is perfect. Finally if you own a 5.7 DO NOT be discouraged as the 5.7 is Mopar's greatest engine Anyone who tells you different is a non educated fool who simply repeats what he see everyone else saying online. The 5.7 has its issues ofc just like any other engine, but it is an amazing platform. It does not have the issues of the 6.4 under boost and the reliability of the 6.1 and the strength of the 6.2. Everyone loves the 6.2, 6.1, and 6.4 but downplays the 5.7 Mind you, the fastest mopar produced is the DragPak which is a 5.7L hemi and for good reason. Again no car is perfect they all have they problems but each one has its pros and cons. SO that being said, enjoy what you have, do you research and again DO YOUR RESEARCH. Hope i came through for a few. cant tell you how many dodge enthusiasts i see spewing the most ignorant shit about these vehicles misleading the damn crowd. Im here if you have any questions
