Nice review. I watched your video twice and it does pretty dang nice. I like hearing them snort b/c it tells me they're new to the area. The deer that frequent the area rarely snort since they're seen everyday and see us everyday and I just think they're too comfortable (ha).

Appreciate the time taken to review this product. Are these useful at all out to 400 meters, as claimed? I would like to have the ability to locate wild pigs at 300 yards or more, but the information and footage in this review (and others) does not that question.

Thanks for watching my review! The binocular would reach out to 300 yards. You would easily illuminate their eyes and you’d be able to make out the outline of them IMO. I have found you can see more when you’re actually looking through the view finder vs the footage they capture. In other words, any example footage is slightly poorer then what you’d actually see inside the unit. I have recently reviewed Bestguarder’s newest night vision monocular and I actually do a distance test at 300 yards!! You can check it out here...

I have one of their trail cams, but didn't know they made these. I could see these would be nice for scouting for deer at night in areas where shining is illegal. Also, night time coyote hunting could perhaps use these, but red/green lights may be more useful. I'm not sure.

I have a pair, but I'll be returning them. For me, the quality of the NV view didn't meet my minimal requirements for detecting people 100-150 yrds. I've found less expensive IR binoculars that offer a much better quality of vision.

Great video!!..... one question, without a tripod and looking into the trees for songbirds, can you get relatively clear, non-blurry images at around 50 yards or better? That is what my wife would love to do and would definitely buy it with your great reveiw.

Have you noticed in the sky if digital NV can pick up Stars? My gf and I like to sit on our barn roof looking at passing satellites and what not and was wondering if there was enough ambient light for that

What tripod should I get for this product? Which one are you using?

I find the tripod head is more important than the actual tripod. The fluid head in the video was a manfrotto which is overkill for what’s needed. I also have and use the Kingjoy VT 3510 fluid head. It works great and is more reasonably priced. As far as tripod, something lightweight yet sturdy is what you want. I usually buy an inexpensive tripod and replace the head it comes with and put on the Kingjoy mentioned above. I’ve had good luck with Dolica and proline tripods in the past 👍

Thanks for watching my review! This night vision has a 1/4” mount on the bottom of it (I used it to mount it to a tripod) and with the right adapter, I’d imagine you could mount it to a helmet. I recently reviewed the Bestguarder WiFi night vision. Turns out that gen 3 night vision are rated for maximum 273 yards or more. This one is rated for 400 metres (or a little bit more that 400 yards). So yeah, this is actually better than a professional one.
