I'm also going to get some of that Himalayan pink salt black pepper and garlic seasoning. I cannot find it in my grocery store only the pink Himalayan salt, but I found it on Amazon

Rick, your chili recipe looks good, and is pretty close to the recipe I use. Chili is one of those dishes I like to experiment with, once a cook at a bar/restaurant gave me his recipe, he threw in a few splashes of Tabasco sauce, which gave it a nice kick. I've heard of all sorts of stuff being thrown in, and in my older years I'm becoming much more adventuresome with recipes. I enjoy your recipes, Rick. Keep up the good work, and take care. Ray.
Homemade chili does not mean you're adding everything from cans and packages... try using fresh tomatoes, spices, and ancho/cascabel chilis. Try the 'Kevin from the Office' chili recipe. It's quite amazing!
