This anime is just mind boggling. Never watched anything like it. At first I thought it might be some poker blackjack kind of gambling but I was proved wrong in the very first episode. The raw emotions you get from watching this anime is just unmatched. You will literally jump from your place with joy and shouting at some scenes and literally banging your head for some scenes and feel sad, angry, happy, frustrated for the main character. Never ever one show has given me such emotions in split seconds. You just cannot stop after first episode. It's more addictive than gambling itself. There are some nail bitting scenes in every episode sorry finger bitting scenes. This anime is just not about gambling but also the mindset of the society we live in. The characters are quite compelling and the voice actors have done a remarkable job in every aspects. Please just watch it and you won't regret

Like in the last shot where she's clearly trying to give Kaiji come hither eyes, but she's so excited that she can't help but break into a big ol' grin. Or the way she's clearly so hyped to do All The Things You Do On A Date. If Kaiji has a speck of sense he should be running to a courthouse

Wish we could have seen this part animated... in the manga, he says he feels like a horse or goat because of the way Mikoko feeds him the sandwich and it cracks me up!
