Lehmann Audio has a poweramp thats called stamp, doesnt matter, but could confuse someone, they be like: I dont think a 1100€ 20w poweramp is that good for driving hd600
I like the idea of the dac and amp stack to be called Bread and Butter, so whichever is the bread and the butter does not really matter, but I like the idea that it is not fancy but is good and just a part of everyday life you know
The DMS1 is a good simple memorable name for it.

@@ramsfan6237 yea, for me is doesnt tend to be shipping thats the problem, but the import tax, tho if you can get the shipping down to normal levels due to the cost of this amp anything else should be fine, and i am currently and have been looking for a new amp/dac for my pc due to it missbehaving from time to time.

Was about to suggest the same because of how obvious yet original it sounds. Plus it has its "pumpiness" in the name, just like the amp would. Also there seem to exist no entities (at least big ones) with this name.
Anyway I like that DMS is expanding into something bigger. I wish this amp could be delivered overseas. I would've bought it just to support the idea!

Name suggestion: DMS AMP-1 or AMP-ONE
DMS as a brand name obviously, that already holds marketing value thanks to your CZcams channel and the great content. AMP could stand for AMPlifier, and if in the future you'd have any other type of products, you could go along with a 3 letter system + the number. The number could either be the running counter of the given product, but I think it would be even better if it would position your products: AMP-1: affordable amplifier, AMP-3: middle level, AMP-5 expensive, AMP-7 full on high end stuff... or anything of course you'd like.

I would call it the DMS ACE
ACE would be an acronym
A for "Amplifier" and/or as a reference of the chassis of the "ARC"
CE for "Cheap Edition"
ACE generally means someone that is very skilled at something, which is fitting given your knowledge about audio.
And also, the Ace is the highest value card on some card hames, which could reference the performance offered for the price.
DMS Project 1. Sounds good, is simple, and is memorable.

It's easy to remember n' has some style to it also 😋
The "Arbiter" would be what I would call it. It would give the human like quality of the person who has authority over a subject matter and can settle or resolve a dispute. The soul purpose of the amp is to be the answer a novice desires. I also genuinely like shorter one word names as it sticks out easily while being memorable.
Quasar for a few reasons, 1, Seeing as this is made from years of collecting knowledge I think its fitting as a quasar is formed from black holes accumulating mass after a long time, quasars are galaxy destroyers that start off very small, could be an analogy for making such a small and inexpensive product that can compete with much larger companies more expensive products, and 2 I like the word quasar (KWAY-zar)
Maybe "Genesis" since it is an entry level amp and Genesis means beginning and for an audiphile getting into the hobby it would definitely be the beginning of this journey.

This could be #2 in a line of progressively better amps: CASE (cheap), BASE (Budget), AASE (Advanced), ...
I like this better than using the word cheap which has a negative connotation.
I have 2 suggestions call it either the Pluto or Pandora's Box.
Pluto since it would be awesome to see you come out with bigger and more powerful amps and you can use any planet or moon names to name subsequent ones
Pandora's Box because this will probably be someone's 1st amp that leads them into opening Pandora's Box that is the audiophile hobby
Ampy McAmpface is a great name... But seriously, I have a couple suggestions:
Cheap Amp For the People - CA-4TP
Transparent-1 or TRNSPRNT
Since this could be the start of the audiophile journey - A1S/1AS (Amp 1st step or 1st step amp) or NAV1 / NV1
Since there is minimal tuning for low-end punchiness, theres - Contour / DMS Contour
Also, since there's mostly knob on the top - DAS KNOB!!!!
“The DMS Essential Amplifier” opens up the opportunity to have more powerful products in the future and a “DMS Essential DAC” too

The Damascus or the Damascus One. The name elicits "DMS" by its very sound, and it has a ring to it that can be modified and played with over time.
DMS Refined (Mini?) would sound great and describes what it would sound like. Mini honoring the original case design
The Apollo! Named after the Apollo missions to the moon, I think it's fitting for an amplifier whose purpose is to ease newcomers looking to take their first steps into this hobby.
I love this! It get's around the "cheap" and "base" aspects but suggests being the first and being brave and adventurous. Also, others also came up with this, but you were the first. I like this better than C.A.S.E. or B.A.S.E. or all that overly simple stuff like The One and all the acronyms.
You are obviously the best. But from the last few videos I can definitely say that you are headed in a right direction.

DMS A50 - A for amp, 50 being the price point. And if there are any newer variants, A50B etc. It also accounts for higher priced models, so you could do A100 if you made a $100 amp.
its hard to justify that 50$ price mark in lcoations other than originated location.

it is the first letter in greek alphabet, and the first Amp made by DMS, it can also mean the start of something or the first. It also starts with the letter A like amplifier
And if/when you make a DAC, you could call it the DMS Delta
As delta starts with D, like DAC, and delta also means the difference between 2 things, such as the difference between Digital and Analog
And also if you decided to make a Amp/Dac combo, you could call it the DMS Omega
You could also add numbers to them for various price points and feature sets

In the sense of making something greater by adding to it. It's a humble name, which fits very well and adds to it being rather affordable.
Modest 1
Which would pair well with your DAC (if you decide to make one), the "Fair 1".
Modest and fair in terms of being essentials and affordable. There are probably other devices with those names, and maybe there are problems naming a product like this, but I really like it. I can just imagine Joshua Valor reviewing this with a huge grin on his face and presenting the Modest 1 Amplifier.
Getting inspired by the analog and digital tattoos on DMS,
"Camerata" from Florentine Camerata or names of other renaissance composers are great for gears with tubes if DMS makes one in the future.
"Glitch", "Pixel", and other electronic-sounding names can be great for solid-state gears.
Now you have 2 sets of product naming.

'BOSCA CEOIL' - this combination is the Gaelic Irish term for 'Music Box' which is pronounced 'Buska-Key-Yole'. It has alot of dual meanings too in that it can refer to a music box itself or is fun way of referring to a melodian/accordion and there was also a killer Outkast album called speaker boxx which it evokes for me as well. Its fun, its irish, its associated with music. I dunno why but I want it to be the Bosca Ceoil!!

21 years ago, before my son was born, we've been searching for beautiful and meaningful names for him. Now, he's name is David just because, days before his birth, we've seen Michelangelo's sublime statue in Florence! But, one name I remember from the list we had back than, is "Arit". In the list we wrote "Arit = enthusiastic and happy spirit "! Looking on google now, it's even better: "Arit = One who seeks the right direction, Honored, Admired, Beloved, Friendly"! So, I think "Arit" would be a good name for your first amplifier! Good luck with your project, and Happy Holydays!

The Thunder Amp (or DMS Thunder or whatever). Implies power and bass. Other than price, the bass boost sets it apart, so I think the name should bring attention to that.

DMS Mercury. It's a small, warm amp and it may be fun to use the Roman pantheon instead of the Norse pantheon (like Schiit audio).
Humble AMP, I think is a good name. It goes with the product intention.
I see a lot of DMS___ , which I get but I was thinking along the lines of SB-El CId. 'HB' for small beginnings, seeing as it targets those entering the hobby, and 'El Cid' from the famous Spanish hero "El Cid Campeador" who was a hero of the people, especially those not protected by any Spanish kingdom. Just a thought.
Also, small beginnings is in reference to a quote attributed to Sir Francis Drake, "sir pravis magna" or "greatness from small beginnings". Not only is it in one of my top games to play (Uncharted) it also reflects what you are trying to do with this product.
I suggest "MiniA"
based on the factors of; Small, Clean, Metal, but Affordable and it's for headphone Mania.

Enigma means something that isn't easily understood because it has a mystifying mixture of qualities. Just like sound.
Works perfectly as a brand name too if you're looking to expand down the line and create product segmentation, for example:

Enigma X1 (high-end amps)
Enigma T1 (tube amp)
Enigma H1 (headphones)
