As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, an unlikely set of heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their families, their people and their home. It genuinely breaks my heart that the planned trilogy was put on the shelf.
This deserved to be a long-running series, with each season covering Warcraft 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
Just imagine seeing Arthas transition into becoming the Lich King with THIS kind of cinematic quality...
Is it true?? Cause the pacing was all over the place.. if he was allowed a triology i denna why he farled story wise.. all other was 5/5
But how would it be a good movie when Warcraft 3 had only 1 movie. WC3 should at least make 2 solid movies!
@@Eliebl Yeah, reign of chaos alone deserves its own trilogy.
*Look on the bright side, at least we don't have a black Anduin or black man Kadgar.*
@@user-hu9vi7nk1lArths story alone would be a trilogy
i always hated how guldan cheats in a makgora and everyone is just like "you cheated!" and gul dan is like "so what" and then everyone is like "oh nothing lets fkn go!"
Your right but they can't do anything at all since gul'dan wields dark magic and he can sap souls the orcs follow the strong but gul'dan said anyone who is coward will get their souls sapped that's what scared the other orcs but dont worry durotan has a son
@@zetsukikenshiro9148 I'm just a bit mad that I can't remember a single fair mak'gora.
Think about it. Garrosh vs Cairne had poison; Thrall vs Garrosh had the elements; Saurfang vs Sylvanas had evil "ENOUGH!" magic; Durotan vs Guldan had soul stealing.
Have we seen a real mak'gora take place other than the one where Blackhand had his dick cut in half?
@@ekasism No we Haven't there hunger for power is what made them cheat in traditional makgora But of all the orcs i've seen Thrall was the one who was not corrupted
Seen how Thrall can't be corrupted that easily by the demons
@@zetsukikenshiro9148 not all mak'gora had demons involed. Maybe only Guldan's.
Also in Thrall's case, his makgora with Garrosh was so traumatic that he lost contact with the elements for quite some time.

Fionnbarr Casey yeah agreed but just wish this wasn’t one of them that did succeed.
It's an infinitely fantastic movie! Of course!
I really like the movie
Mostly the LOTR fanboys were upset at the movie.
"This is a Mak'gora. You will respect our traditions, KEEP FIGHTING!"
This line says so much about the Orcs. They have a code of honor and follow warrior traditions, and that's why this is one of the only films where I actually admire and like the orcs rather than just view them as mindless killing machines.
Wolf frost is more than a mindless orcs fighting .
Yea but they are still pathetic, it's not true what you're saying. Gul'dan clearly goes against their tradition and they do nothing.

Good or bad idc this movie was super fun to watch and just a good enjoyable action filled movie. People need to stop hating to much these days.
Durotan threw a flag on the ground. Yep, he asked Gul'dan for a PvP duel.
Imagine if they didn’t show such cowardice when Guldan executed the three orcs. If they had stood up to him there and then.

As a longtime fan of the fantasy genre, I really enjoyed Warcraft.
When Durotan says "GUL'DAN, you have no honor!" gives me chills every time! 3:54
It was this very scene when he yelled that line that i thought to myself, "that voice, that yell, it sounds very distinctively familiar" and i said "where have i heard that voice before". And then it clicked, it sounded exactly like the voice of Koba from Planet of the Apes when he yells out "Ceasar!!!" So i looked it up to see if it was the same voice actor and sure it enough was. And your right, it does send a chill down the spine.
Dang nice! I loved those planet of the apes movies thanks for making the connection dude.@@undyingknowledge7818

Don't care what anyone says. Might not have been PERFECTLY in line with the story from Warcraft, but by god, it was actually the closest an adaptation has done.
I still hold this movie in high regards for what they managed to do with this. Though they really should've gotten the CGI team at Blizzard involved, really bring this movie to life.
I truly enjoyed this movie. This scene was one of the main reasons. The orcs very much reminded me of the Klingons which imo, is a great thing. Durotan was such a stud.

Maybe it’s because I don’t know anything about actual WOW lore but I thoroughly enjoy this movie. It’s a fun and action packed fantasy movie. It looks pretty good visually compared to a lot of the terrible CGI we’ve been getting lately.
Trust me go and read wow lore, it really is amazing, even tho the movie wasn't following the lore that much it still was good, but og lore is just epic
While I can’t speak for World of Warcraft, I really enjoyed the lore and the gameplay of WarCraft Three: Reign of Chaos and WarCraft Three: The Frozen Throne.
I know WoW lore and i enjoyed it, it could have been done better but the story of Warcraft would suit a show much better.
Cool movie. Sadly lacks depth that the game has
The lore is quite spot on in the movie. The thing is that it goes too fast, without giving the audience enough time to invest in the characters emotions and motivations.
That moment where Durotan broke one of Guldan's bone spikes in his back reminds me of the scene when Hulk broke Abomination's elbow bone spike and stabbed it in his chest.
Durotan my favorite wow character, the only reason I made a maghar orc and I made that he was the son of durotan from alt draenor. Love WoW because of him.
Maybe people just werent ready for this movie then, looking back and watching it recently, its actually bad ass with a pretty good story and script. I can't believe it got hated on. I want a sequel!
And im not even a WoW fan. But warcraft 1 and 2 were epic days for me.

I NEED MORE WARCRAFT MOVIES!
Durotan threw some crazy combo fr tho im a hood kid but bro stood on business i love this genre
This movie just further exemplifies why the horde (and the orcs by extension) was such a more better faction cause of leaders like Durotan and fellow orcs like Doomhammer
Blackhand! No-Hand. Semi-disturbing problems solved by reality of more exploration in Orcs and their cultures. Great movie! Epic storytelling; more for the future, please!

Blizzard should have just made the movie themselves. Getting another company involved really messed with things. I still thought it was a pretty good movie, but it could have been so much better.
It takes more than desire to do something. You need expertise and skill. Would you build your own car? No, you outsource such things.
@@voose03 LOL! Your comment doesn't make any sense 🤣 Blizzard has an entire animation team and writing team. They have the expertise and skill to make a movie. Have you not seen their cinematics or storytelling?
That would be like telling the CEO of Ford to just go buy a Kia instead of having one made because Kia has the expertise and skill. Guess what? So does Ford, and if they made it themselves they could do their own quality control on their own product.
Blizzard obviously doesn't have enough to make a good game not even a good movie, hopefully, Microsoft would be able to provide a budget and then they can make an amazing movie

Probably not. The movie didn't even break even and rated poorly. Duncan wanted to make another one but considering that they auctioned off any and all worthwhile assets from the movie it is unlikely anything else will come.

Honestly if this truly would’ve been a fair fight Durotan would’ve beaten Gul’dan easily. In terms of raw brute strength Durotan’s on par with Grommash Hellscream & Cargeth shatterhand. & he clearly has an experience factor over Gul’dan in terms of combat skill. But Gul’dans magic is what give him the edge in this fight & ultimately decides the fight.
Definitely, remember gul'dan is a cripple due to a birth defect, the resentment he harboured towards those who pushed him aside is what made him turn to the legion.
