Allen's whole desire was to just get out of barbieland, and then Barbie says she wants to leave instead after coming in contact with every sleazy man imagionable from the real world. And poor Midge is just left constantly preggers and called weird for it. These two got ripped off and deserve to be set free.

Instead of Barbie (and that particular Barbie) being allowed to become a real person - HISHE asks why can't all the dolls become real people?

Who wants to hear a logical ending where the Barbies realize the biggest mistake they made was treating the Kens like lower class citizens (creating a 2 class system) causing them to stand up against an oppressive regime, and instead of going right back to that same broken system like they did at the end of the movie, they decide to treat all Kens & Barbie’s with equal rights and say, so they don’t repeat that mistake… but no…. No one wants that kinda ending…. Lol

To be fair they probably didn’t want to seem as if they were copying Honest Trailers but I do agree that it would have probably been more entertaining than this. I agree with most of the comments sadly a dull bland spot in an otherwise wacky, fun and hilarious series

…that wasn’t really much different to the original film. Like, there’s seriously nothing that could be altered? For instance, and this is from the top of my head, what if Barbie just told Ken he couldn’t come with her? Then how different would it be?

What if Barbie told Ken to stop taking over Barbieland and he just did immediately? What if Barbie got on board with Ken taking over Barbieland? What if Barbie screamed at the Mom for turning her into an existential mess? What if the Kens just reconquered Barbieland when they were denied a judge in the Supreme Court at the end? What if we cut to a He-Man or Optimus Prime toy going through the same ordeal? What if we saw Ken telling all the other villains in the Villain’s Bar about the patriarchy and how it doesn’t actually involve horses?

what if Barbie experienced things out in the real world that we didn't see her experience in the movie?
what if the real-world Mattel people were remotely competent and had failsafe protocols?
what if upon entering the real world, Barbie becomes aware of the Barbenheimmer hype?
and of course, allusions to other 90's toy pop culture references, Villains pub, etc. were all sorely missing. there was SO much to work with, yet for some odd reason they totally phone it in on this one. tbh i actually would prefer they just delete this video and try again, i trust HISHE can do better than this and the Barbie movie deserves that much!
Never commented before and I usually absolutely love Hishe, but this one never even got a chuckle from me. It’s hard to satirize a satire I think. Hoping for better stuff from a Loki 2 or Marvels Hishe. Either way, guys, thanks for all the content throughout the years.😊

Well, I also hated the Tangled one, since it only brought up *one* issue that's actually addressed later on in the movie. (Honestly, it feels like they didn't even watch it.)
And their Rise of Skywalker one was was just silly and weird, whereas their Last Jedi one actually made a lot of sense.
This one though... after reading most of the comments, I don't even feel compelled to bother watching.
(I'm sure there are others I didn't care for, but those are the only ones I remember at the top of my head.)

I miss the old ways that made this channel great. The singing and the silliness and the making fun of anything and everything - nothing off the table. What’s going on? We miss you! You've done such a consistent job of being incredibly entertaining with even the most oddball of movies, so this one stands out because of your otherwise tremendous success rate. While I'm struggling to say anything nice after watching this, I do want to emphasize that we otherwise love your content. This one could do with a post mortem to figure out what happened, but please keep doing what you do and don't be discouraged by the response to this.
I think they just needed to put out a video to fulfill a sponsor obligation, only had two ideas for jokes/changes, but decided to do Barbie anyway because it will get clicks. Recapping the movie is a good way to pad the runtime without having to write anything. It's too bad, I actually would like to see Barbie try to get to a doctor's appointment. She hasn't existed as a person until now, and has no birth certificate, citizenship, driver's license, or health insurance. Trying to navigate decades of bureaucracy in an afternoon could make for a pretty funny scene. Oh well, at least we'll probably be back on track when they do Blue Beetle or something.
Honestly I feel like the majority of their videos have this same "phone it in" feel to their writing.
The art/animation is always consistently good,
But they've completely forgotten what the gimmick of their content is supposed to be: "How it should have ended".
Now most of their videos are just a couple quick no effort jokes, followed by 4 minutes of the Superhero Cafe or Villain Pub.
Like, if they want to make content about those things, then they should just focus on that instead of doing the whole "how it should have ended" shtick and never actually writing anything good for that.
This one was even worse because it exists solely for them pumping out the video to get that advertisement in at the end.
But what's shocking to me is that the thing that takes the most effort, the art, is still really good.
Who is doing the writing? Can they please write something better that actually follows the format so that the artists and animators good work doesn't go to waste?

I think it's just because it's hard to summarize the movie and have people still understand, like a friend of mine summarized the plot of the movie before I actually watched it and I was utterly confused.

Usually I look forward to HISHE videos but this was not what I expected, this channel is so good especially with the marvel ones. Counter idea: The business men are revealed to all be escaped kens, and they perpetuate Barbie Land to keep the Barbies contained.
You don't need to make a HISHE just because the movie was big. Stay true to your comedy, this was just a reenactment of your favourite bits of the movie
The Barbies divide the Ken's, but the Kens then proceed to flex at eachother, have a musical number, and are all friends afterwards.
Moral: solve your problems like a Ken
That or Ken also learned about Drugs, Guns, and Election Fraud. Or even that Ken just dumps Barbie. Multiple things they could have gone with for an actual HISHE.

I was kinda expecting something funny like having a city for each mattel property, a matrix parody (you know like unplugging the barbies from the matrix), or Barbie realizing the horrible things about being a real person like pain, hunger, or having to poop.
