Setting the IP Address on a Zebra ZT620 Printer

So, this is how you change the IP address of your Zebra ZT620 industrial printer. First click on the home button. Then toggle over to network. Click OK. Toggle over and you will see the existing IP address. I only want to change the last octet of this address. I’ll hit next, next, next, next. Let’s change that to “31”. OK, now I’m going to go over: subnet mask looks correct. The gateway looks correct. This says permanent which means it’s giving it a static IP address. That is what we want. If it says DHCP, we don’t want that. We want it to say permanent. Let’s go next. MAC address, we don’t need to worry about that. You can print the network information at this point or let’s just go ahead and reset it. Now the directions will tell you to just hit the reset button. What you really want to do is hold that reset button down for approximately 5 seconds. Let it go. Watch the light here. It went red, it’s reconfiguring the printer with the new IP address. It’s green. Now let’s go back to home. And let’s see if it’s changed that. And there you have it.
