  • I used an old piece of aluminum beam from a tractor trailer to make cross rails for the roof rack on my 2003 Honda Odyssey.

    I believe it's your accent that TRULY GAVE ME CONFIDENCE IN YOUR EXPERTISE. For those outside the USA who only know a southern accent from HollyWood movies you may be used to hearing that accent whenever someone DUMB is talking (Horrible hollywood elitist stereotypes). *BUT FOR THOSE OF US IN THE US* we know that accent is that of a working man, AKA THE GUY WHO KNOWS HOW TO BUILD AND FIX STUFF! Thanks for the video.

    Very cool design....the dealer cross bars are outrageously expensive and the stuff on amazon is cheap garbage.....I love the amazon reviews that say things like "boy, were we surprised to see our kayaks on the interstate behind us!" Anyway, you've inspired me....thank you!

    Thanks for the video. Do you get wind noise and if yes how do you eliminate it.
    Thanks

    • @TheFurrminator
      @TheFurrminator  Před 3 lety

      If there is wind noise from the cross rails, it is most likely hidden by the wind noise from the cargo carrier that we use. I only use the cross rails while using the cargo carrier.

    Do you know what type of side rails these are? I’ve got a system that can be used already on that style and would save me a bunch of money but I can’t find side rail. I see now I have to put the c channel in the top of mine to be able to put the one cross members in but then they are aero and I have round bars.

    I love your videos especially your camping trailer is there any way you could do another video on your trailer such as a video where you take it camping or just a update on it?!

    • @TheFurrminator
      @TheFurrminator  Před 8 lety

      Thank you so much. I actually pulled the trailer out Monday to clean it up a little and set it up to make a few videos, this video happened to be one that was recorded Monday, notice the trailer parked behind the van. Before I did anything I had to pull it around the block just for the heck of it, lol. I have received several requests for a video of the trailer set up just as it is when camping, I am planning on taking a long weekend just for that and I'll set up everything that we use and make a video for the channel. I'm not sure when I will do that due to our busy schedule but I hope to fit it in soon. I made a couple videos Monday so be on the lookout for those as well as a 2000 subscribers give away. Thank you for the comments and thank you for watching.
