Art is absolutely beautiful. This really hit home for me though. I had two dogs that grew up together, one of them, died a few years back. The other died about two weeks ago now. I just really hope they’re together again committing crimes against humanity.
This made me feel- less alone. My cat died only 2 days ago now, she was called Drucilla (or Drusilla) but more commonly called Dru. She was black and white, and we recently got her paw-print and some hair from the vets. She was put down from a blood-clot and I’ll always miss her.
My cat, Stella, died a couple of months ago. She got liver failure; we believe it was caused by cancer. She's a black and red ticked mackerel torbieshell with high residual striping and white spotting. In non-genetic terms, I'd describe her as a brown and orange tortoiseshell with faint stripes and a back darker than her belly, as well as a few white markings. We got her pawprints, as well. I miss her every day and still cry frequently, but I know she's out there watching over me. Waiting for me. I'm so sorry that you lost Drucilla. I know what it's like to lose a pet.

I hope you heal soon, obviously you may never heal entirely, but that’s okay, it’s important to go slow and steady, I imagine my cat is up in STARCLAN, (from warriors) and well, yeah. It makes me feel better about it, I want another cat in the future, but my family isn’t ready for one, and that’s okay, so I’m glad that I’m healing myself, just very slowly. I still have my dog to keep me company when I need it, even if my dog is extremely stinky because she rolls in mud, and being a westie and being a white dog, that makes the mud VERY visible. But I have funny stories of my cat and dog if you wanna hear them. There was one time, when my dogs ball went behind her crate and she went in and thought, ‘oh it’s in my crate’ and began barking when it wasn’t in there, she couldn’t work out the problem behind why her ball wasn’t right there! She finally realised it was outside her crate and practically bolted towards it. And there was a time with my cat, when she just sat down right in-front of me, and wouldn’t move, and it was just like ‘Oh Well, Guess I’m Stuck Here Forever’ 👍
I had 3 pets, they were all friends and I never thought that they would get along, since it was 2 cats and 1 dog, but they loved eachother, and slept next to eachother. I don't know If Bruce, aka one of my cats, is alive or not, but if he is, pangie, and lacey will always be with him

I’m so sorry, i’m sure they were a wonderful friend who loves you dearly. And art is a wonderful way to express that. I’m trying to do something similar, as two of my pets died on the same day, and then a third died not even a month after. I’m trying to make paintings of them, but I’m not much of a painter, so it feels scary to do it. Seeing others creating art relating to the same subject feels… comforting in a way. So thank you
This made me start tearing up!! Such amazing art and talent on display here!! Three weeks before my birthday, I lost my childhood dog who had seen me through so much trauma, and she saw me into the woman I am today. Two weeks after my birthday, we lost my uncle, who my childhood dog had been very close with during their lives. I hope that they're together, on the other side, watching over us as I and my uncle's dog live on for them.
I’m so sorry for your loss, I hope they are happy in heaven. but let me say, this reassured me. I lost my cat in July, his name was Loki and I miss him so much. His was a fat cat and I guess we thought it didn’t matter but it did. He became a middle aged cat and he started to become sick. He had liver problems, barely could eat, couldn’t walk, couldn’t even stand properly. I was getting floss, (this was the day he died) and I saw him in a dying position. I didn’t think of it much. I cry now cuz I barely even cared, I hope he rests in heaven. I love you Loki. Sunday 16 July, 2023 ❤️🕊️
I had a cat named Mingus, a black bengal. He was older than me, growing up he was like a best friend. One of my favorite memories of him was when my parents made it look like Mingus was sliding cookies under the door for me, using his paw. Mingus passed away a year ago, at fifteen years old. I imagine that his ghost watches over my other cat, Aslan.
I had two cats back in 2020 named Sofia and Sara, but after a month of adopting them, Sofia died to a sickness. Fortunately, Sara survived and she is still alive to this day
I used to have 3 cats and they loved playing with each other but then one day , one of them ( Spot ) just didnt eat at all then passed away as soon as my grandma had pulled up because my mum had called her and then another one of them ( who was called Millie ) , she had to go to the vet and my dad told me because `to give her a shot` so I dont know if we put her down or if she had something wrong with her and they tried helping her and died or if it was a different reason . Then the last cat ( who was called Tigs ) we had to put him down as he was in alot of pain and he was getting pretty old , he was a cat that our current 2 cats knew when they first came here Also sorry for your loss , I hope your doing okay right now
This is really sad, and it hits me emotionally since I've lost a lot of pets.. Mostly cats (my family has seven cats now) since they were indoor outdoor cats since we just couldn't find a way to keep them inside, they always escaped. We did try, but one cat got out and got pregnant and had EIGHT kittens. All the kittens are alive today (i think, and we only were able to give two away aswell) but their mom and uncle (two black cats named lighting(the mom) and thunder (lightnings brother )) arent alive. Worst part? Lighting died on my brothers birthday 😭😭😭😭😭😭 thunder died a few months after, we heard he was hit by a garbage truck. Last year in December the most recent cat death occured, petey (who was a male orange cat named after lil petey from dog man books (which my brother read)) died of a seizure, we were told (im using we since they weren't my cats, yet family cats) and in 2021 I think we had four kittens die, each one day after the other, the last dying on mothers day. They were Oreo (black and white male who died first) sun and star (two black cats, sun male, star female,) and saber (male gray and white cat, died last on mothers day) we think they died of either cat corona virus or their mom (A black cat named siren) being too young when they were born and them being underdeveloped. The first cat I remember we had who died was a female named whisky, who was hit by a car (I think). We also had cats who just disappeared and were never seen again, spooky, A (very fat, I'm not even fat shaming a cat she weighed like 20 something pounds) former house cat who we tried to keep inside, but one day she got out and escaped and was never seen again. Also a gray and white male named trooper had randomly ran away and was never seen again. I know I'm blabbering a lot, but I have one final message. I am so sorry for your lost. I hope the kitties are somewhere better now or whatever. Or ghosts running rampage among the world, having fun. :) I understand your pain of losing A pet, its something that lasts forever... ❤❤
Were they siblings?? (Btw im so sorry for your loss) I was reminded of when my two cats (brother and sister) died a month apart, I always imagined Izzy was there for her brother when he died because he was so sad after her death… rip to everyone who lost their pets it’s very sad :((
For me, it's not the fact that we lost a cat, it's that her sister is still with us and I always ask myself if she can remember her. It was almost a year ago now, but I still think about the look that our cat had on her face when she saw the dead body of her sister. She was only 6 months old... It was very sudden two, got hit by a car.
This is really heartwarming…My cat got ran over about 4 months ago. They said her body was dragged along the road and her eyes were bulging out of her face…It was terrifying, I cried in my room after about a week because I was too shocked to cry at first😕
