Much love to Josh! Thank you for coming to Rwanda! Please do come back. (27:48 The justice system employed was called Gacaca. )
I can’t stand terrible content on CZcams. This is the opposite. Thanks Connor for your humbling exchanges🙏🏼❤️
Josh is a legend, its a blessing to know him and to be his fan.
Wow, first time here and this interview blew my mind. It was so interesting, thank you both for addressing that many issues I struggle with.
I love how he can open and wake up arts in yourself!
awesome talk, funny, deep, and uplifting, and the greatest thing about this talk is you didnt know all that was coming entering into it. it got you soul psychedilishy....
This is absolute fire! Josh has an incredibly analytical, creative mind. Such eloquent articulation too.
This was deep. Thanks, gents!
One of my favourite podcast episodes oat, such well articulated storytelling about life. Glad josh does music too as he clearly has a lot to express from his experiences👁️
I feel so much of what Josh here is saying. Searching for *variety vs depth* has been one of the biggest struggles in life. Slowly working towards accepting that I can't have everything has been bittersweet but in a sense freeing; I feel much more focused and confident now.
There are some things in life that are either 1 or 0. If you experience one then you will never experience the other. If you eat the apple then you will never experience not eating the apple.
Throughout the years I have come to love and feel the idea from the first Matrix movie "Know thyself"/"Don't try to hit me, and hit me!". It doesn't matter what is right or wrong, it doesn't matter if you feel like doing something or not, it doesn't matter what others think, it doesn't matter what YOU think. The only thing that matters in the end is if you are going to do it or not.
Great Job in bringing Josh Radnor to the podcast⭐️
Those of us that have been following you for awhile know how transformative your content is, hopefully this will introduce you to a whole new wave of people.
Such a great talk! I wanna thank you both for being so amazing
This was a great talk. Josh is such an interesting living thing. Thanks to both of you.
I'm so glad this showed up on my feed ❤❤❤
We definitely need a part two!
Wonderful discussion. I wish I had a male friendship like this.
Never seen this podcast and I just randomly started watching HIMYM with my wife for the first time. He seems genuine on the show and I get a funny feeling that he's one of those people that uses an element of his real soul in his craft. With saying that...man. I stopped drinking June 27th, 2019. Why that date? Well ya see, I was in a toxic relationship; she would gaslight me into arguments after I had to walk on eggshells with my every word & would frequently out of nowhere give me the "dude, fuck this I'm done I need to be single" and call me two hours later. I was distraught and nervously awaiting her pulling out of the relationship everyday, so I fed that nervousness with alcohol. I drank so much and stressed so hard that I thought it was the fourth of July..... imagine that. Such a drunk losing track of time that I bought $200 of alcohol to get drunk June 27th bc thought it was Independence Day.
It started with WANTING to be excited for the 4th of July, but then....this person I was with (who also wanted me to start drinking with her in the first place) screamed and laughed calling me a crude name for someone with a mental handicap. She said I was so stupid and it was because I'm not fully white (I'm mixed, mixed parent & white parent).
That evening, I finished my two blue moons, walked out and never came back. Now today I'm a 34 year old nondrinking man that is married to someone that has only ever tried to love me, has two beautiful daughters that look at my wife as a second mother truly, owner of a new Camaro and recently - a homeowner. My life flourished when I stopped numbing myself with alcohol. And to this day, I often tell my wife that I don't miss hangovers, or spending the next day vomiting and exhausted, not being able to control myself or anything good.
thanks for sharing that
I really enoyed listening to this conversation, honest and interesting, very relatable for myself. Just a really good listen. Thank you👍
Josh Radnor is the best in and out
Great Guest - I feel like I've been on a similar life-arc to Josh and I found myself enthralled in the topics you discussed - especially growth vs depth you guys touched on. To me Josh has outgrown being "Ted Mosby" who I once felt I used to relate to so much...
Josh is very wise, seems like a cool dude.
Love what he talks about around 25:00 and on about compassion
Ya'll should read ''Atlas Of The Heart'' by Brené Brown, Great read about understanding Emotions!
So great talk!
wow this is amazing, should be viral smh 🔥🔥
I loved this podcast!
Love this interview! Lots of many interesting thoughts. I’m quite picky about the information I consume and it was the first interview in a very long time that I watched fully. Thanks a lot for your work.
Btw Connor, where did you get that tshirt from? 😊love what it says 🙈
I absolutely love this
Awesome interview, used to love the show How I Met Your Mother growing up . Recently having started a podcast, always cool to see such personable interviews that feel more like a conversation between two good friends, something I’m aiming for on my show! Subscribed 🤜🤛
Ironic that Josh is appearing on a show that discusses the true "Bro Code"!
HIMYM has a very special place in my heart and Ted Mosby is my favorite fictional character. Thanks for this!
The way he talks about plant medicines with such eloquence and reverence is inspiring and will help normalize these substances for personal health and growth, and for the health of our planet and all of its inhabitants.
more power to you josh :)
Classic Ted Mosby, thks for the interview Josh
He was def talking about Joel Olstein and his Lamborghini of God
❤❤❤
Can't wait to see the "Why I stopped doing psychedelics" video by both of these dudes 20 years from now.
