I'll be showing you how to build an Easy & Reliable fast travel system I came up with this week. It will save you so many hours of travel time and many trips back and forth between Biomes because it is fast, has not broken and can double your inventory while on long trips!

3:06 I just realized that the first part of the stoppers was left out. All you need to do is put the umber pillar on right and left lined up with each other and flush with the rails. Line up the middle one and nudge back one space before putting the beams and tires on. Sorry about that everyone!

5:02 at this part whenever I break the pillar the whole car just disappears with the crashing scene, but none of the parts drop so I lose the resources. Any fixes for this? Cause I got the whole pathway with rails down so it’s too small to replace with dynamic foundation unless I redo the whole railing. I tried doing it with half size pillar and same thing. Seems that whenever it loses contact with the “ground” it just breaks down without any resources dropping
@jaszek9249 Yeah, that kept happening to me to. It's because this was before update 20.30 and they sadly patched this after the update.

I’ll prob try making a dynamic foundation on top the railings with big wheel to the side if it, that way the wheels keep it going straight on the outside. So same thing but on top

With the new update just put a drivers seat put thrusters on both sides use a wrench to toggle 1 set 2 one button and the other set to another super easy
Love this idea. My ADD is so bad though that i would want to be able to turn and go other places, not just one direction. Its great though for harvesting between bioms!

I've had the problem where every time I break the log pillar to drop the car, the whole thing has broken (and for the most part the build components dissapear). This hasnt changed as of the 28.30 update.
I did find a work around though - if you place a dynamic foundation to sit on the rails and build the car on top (instead of using the log pillar), then break the dynamic, it drops without breaking.
For me, this has been one of the coolest ways to get across the map, so big thanks to haskyns for posting.

Thanks for the pointer! Glad you like the video! I didn’t notice that if the track is to high off the ground it usually breaks. Im going to try the foundation method.

You can actually change the angles of the start of the build if you want to change the direction of the rails let's say 45° instead of being locked to the usual angles.

If you do end up using for storage, I recommend emptying before logging off. The game crashed on me and the vehicle was gone when I came back. You can easily rebuild in a few minutes, but don’t want to lose material! The game has been really buggy since the last update!

**sighs and facepalms** this steering wheel needs to get added some, so i can make a functioning car. cuz making separate pieces so that you have separate thrusters is not a feat i enjoy.

@@seanwilson531 i know, a lot of speculation out there too. Id imagine they will be brining a ton of stuff to this game throughout the year especially with all the backlash.
I’d even just accept fixing all the bugs so I don’t spend hours on something like this, only to find it vanish the next day

I placed 2 dynamic plates or these made of flexwood, and thrust on each side. This allowed me to jump on the other one and turn it on so it pushes it the other direction. I did experiment thruster amount that helps with speed. I do remember i made a railing, sometimes if i built on each side, sometimes i build a flat path with fences.....
I hate myself for getting hyped by this. It looks amazing in your world. I have had tracks for a long time and figured I’d give it a go. Attempt 527 at making a working train that would ferry my goods from one area to another. I’ve followed everything to the t but when I break the pulled to let the car fall, it just explodes. Ive never had one so that before but that’s what happens. I’ll go back to my launch pads until and update comes with working mechanics. Sighs in frustration. 😢
Im sorry that happened to you! Did you try leaving the game and rebuilding? Its happened to me a couple times, but when I left and came back it was fine.

Don't have the track go directly from or to a village. Weird things happen as the village loads in. Things can get very laggy and jerky and the physics go all screwy if you approach a large village quickly on a vehicle.
@@ashscott6068 my village is only 2 buildings and the train tracks are all well outside my village borders.
I built 3 around my world… i thought after the car update i wouldn’t need them but i still like them and will keep them for now.

Make sure the starting point and place you build the car is on a hill so its high up but still close to the ground. It seems since the update, if you are to high iff the ground, it will break when knocking out the post. I hope this helps!

Now with the steering you put 4 thrusters on 2 one way 2 the other and use a wrench to change the button so when you want to stop you use triangle or Y and to go use like square or X? :) easy that way you don’t have to build so much you can use the game plus can go forward and backwards a lot easier rather than just going one way
im using half walls for the sides, it extends in 4 diff bioms, with 6 diff tracks , connected all together, travell bothways on a single track, with lifts, jumpads, to access them.. I call it ''Sky Highways'' :) no wheels , since the start of the build was months ago, while wheells wasnt fixed yet :D But im thinking to add them, as it was the original idea last year.. its jsut that with wheel need a proper breaking system. but its possible by using wheel hanging under or built on top horizontally, then make a break pads/rails as wide as the wheel is at the end of the breaking zone and going a bit wider towards the track so it would be easier to chatch the wheel if vehicle isnt centered on the track. its fast and smooth stopper ;)
when you hit the lenght limit, just make 1 dot gap and continue on a new one :) make sure you attach the track only in one plays to the ground, otherwise its causing the lag if you have multiple connections to the ground.

I think the character glitches when standing on the blocks because it's not a dynamic foundation, nonetheless I love the design and plan on putting this in my world. Thank you for a good video and your time for figuring out all the bugs with it.

Took me quite a bit but I built mine 😂
Good job! The game is so buggy unfortunately, that I had to re-build the vehicle 3 times already. Sometimes when I enter the game, the vehicle appears crashed on the floor, while there is no sign of damage to the track itself... there is no way the vehicle could fall from the track, this is just another bug in the game. It's a quicker job to re-build it than to walk long distances anyway.
Yea for sure. What I would do is set up a lumber mill and chest with materials on both ends. That way, if it ends up happening to you, just rebuild. I have only had issues with the car disappearing a couple times.
a good way to prevent this is to lift the vehicle to the exact same altitude it's located, this way it will not spawn under the railway if the railway takes more time to load than the tiny vehicle
How do you get each panel to automatically place perfectly in line with the next? I can never line mine up.

You should be able to step back a bit, line up the white dot towards the edge of the last piece you set. Then hold snap mode while walking forward and spam the build button.

Unfortunately ever since the new update the car starts to lean on one side of the rail and gets stuck, I tried building other vehicles but it still gets stuck. Prior to the update it work flawlessly but now it’s just a giant bridge 😔
Yea total bummer. Im going to work out a new car design that works. Its almost as if they don’t want people using this. If you drive on any type of floor the car goes sideways.
Can you make this with dual thrusters and seperate switches?
You can now separately control the thrusters with a wrench.
What standard of speed should we set? How long does it take to go 1000 meters?
If it’s in a straight line, it would be about 50-60 sec. In the video it was 1:20 with using the launch pads to jump from the mesa to the next track.
Whats the difference between using dynamic platform vs regular blocks for this?
Its just cheaper since it uses wood, and the track would have to be wider to accept the dynamic foundation, which would take much longer to build.
Since the new update all my cars that involves trusters just go to one side and don't advance anything, like the trusters just make the vehicle gl full right or left :( y try this one and it's the same issue I guess I have to try a mono rail

Hey man, does your car ever glitch out when you log in? My world have been super glitchy
Our entire survival world crashed and we cant build anymore. Before that happened about 3 days ago, it was still working fine. I did some testing and figured out ways you can overcome the game bugs. Maybe Ill put a video out this weekend!
Hi, i'm having a problem when building the track, it gets to a point where it won't let me build anything else.
What i do to build a infinite track?
The game has build limits. I don’t think there is anything that can be done until they update the limits.
if i felt like making this, i'd like it longer than this. two or more chests to fit on top if i'm to my transport system for each biome. (solo server; name's Fred Flintknock if you wish to join.)
This can fit 4 chests on the blocks above the thrusters but only placed one for the video. Yeah let’s link up sometime.
I think they buffed this as of April 2024, everytime I finish building it and breaks the pillar or jack it sits on the vehicle breaks the tile and falls through to the ground or on my village (had to make repairs everytime)
Mine are still standing but from what I understand the vehicles have a tough time driving on floor pieces. Idk why they did this.
The anxiety I had around the 3:30 mark when you were destroying part of your stopping system. Am I right in thinking that one hit too many and your entire bridge is coming down?
I actually have supports on both sides making contact with the ground so it wont fall.
I built something similar to this and after a few days my vehicle always disappears, have you had that problem with this build?
It happened to me last night after the game crashed. Other than that it’s been fine. I logged on before posting this and both of them were still right where I left them. Good thing is, if it does happen, rebuilding the car only takes a few min and is pretty cheap.
I would recommend emptying the chest before logging off just incase! 😀
Even if you have to do a few 5 min rebuilds, you still end up saving hours of travel time.
mine is even worse, the railway is disappeared too! So frustrating…

bro i did this on satisfactory OMG LMFAO> I put all my radiation stuff way up in the air haha. I was thinking about this on here, and then googled how to make flying planes on here, and I watched some of your videos. They are seriously good tutorials man! Maybe we can make a petition to allow them to mod the game. So we can add more machines, and more charms , bosses, biomes etc. Kinda like feed the beast minecraft.

What if you have a base in another biome that is further than 1000 meters where you can't pan far enough on the map to see the base
I have a few of these that span 1000 meters. You van use the map to set the direction.
When I make this my car keeps exploding when I break the pillar to drop it. Any insight to what I’m doing wrong

You can build the vehicle out of granite. It weighs exactly the same as wood
Yup, it just breaks everything it runs into.
@@Haskyns Mine hasn't. I used the exact same design for the buffer, but the car is granite and twice as long. I used granite for the track and railings too, cus it's just so much faster to farm. It doesn't even make weird noises or anything. I gave up on wheeled vehicles back when they were guaranteed to just fall apart, crash the game, or be floating in the sky in a million pieces randomly one day, but this one hasn't missed a beat.
@@HaskynsHaving said that...that was when there was only one of them. I built max-length roads all over my world, but as soon as I start adding cars, the game lets me add maybe 3 or 4 of them before they start to explode the instant I break away the support. They also despawn all the time. They just disappear and never come back. Also, since the last update, they're slow as Hell. I think that was part of the "fix" to stop the wheels exploding.
I tried to build the car and once I hit the pillar the car launched off the bridge 😢 not sure how to fix that or if the game is bugged

In the meantime, try using a dynamic foundation to build instead of a pillar.

Tried this but ever time I break the support for the car to drop down, the entire car explodes and I cant even find the pieces anymore :(

Yeaaah... this is extra special ed.
This is from way before the update and was the best way to travel. Never fell off it like flying ships and I was able to level up all biome bases to 10 so fast. Lots of problems since the update.

Use a dynamic foundation for the support. That will solve it. The games updates screwed the original design up.

Yea, it really depends. The way I look at it is for every hr I spend building something like this it ends up saving me a lot more in travel time. I can get to two different desert bioms in less than 1 min.

I started the car and it moves sort of diagonally and it broke all the floors below it… I am so annoyed, this game has way too many glitches…
What about Multi-Directional?
Its main use case is to connect villages in different biomes. Good for transport and really quick way to get villages to lvl 10.
I also do LEGO video Creations and I'm always interested in what other creators are doing. Especially when it comes to Multi-Directional Vehicles. Nice Video! @@Haskyns
I can confirm the car doesn't build on survival mode and breaks when you destroy the pillar to drop the car

That's cool, but not worth the trouble, IMHO. My travel system is a 2 wood foundations, a balloon, a thruster, and a switch.
I like the sound of that build! Do you just ditch it? How do you land where you want?
@@HaskynsYou can just ditch it and collect the materials...it takes a minute to build. If you do something a little more complicated, for example using two wood foundations, one large a balloon, and four smalls, you can also land it intact by breaking the one large balloon (and then replacing it next time you want to fly). I'll post some ideas on the Reddit sub in a day or two, assuming tonight's patch doesn't solve the problem in a better way (which seems unlikely to happen).
how do you steer?
Amazing and dedicated! Sadly......This isn't "fast."
Best way and easiest is the moving platform, thruster a switch and a balloon. Steer using granite beams. Weigh what side you need to steer and two granite beams turns you 90 degrees.
It's cheap and the EASIEST way so far. Even the glitches and fall offs means you can just make a new one.
It’s not fast anymore! The update ruined toys! I have 20 flying ships stuck in the air since the update because I lag off everyone in my survival world. Now I use a boat and travel by foot unless im starting a new world. In that case I use this in seeds that have all biomes by each other.

One balloon and one platform. Use the wood saved to build stairs up or just shoot it down with a crossbow. One balloon is one shot......
Saved me HOURS and resources for days. I even made railings and put two chests on the back of the platform.
Granite beams to weight the craft means it's cheap and easy.
Nothing fancy to lose and nothing fancy to spend hours making even. Five mins and you are flying........

Lot of effort to just got to one area
Once its set up though you save so much time hauling stuff back and forth.
Problems. It only goes straight and takes a ridiculous amount of wood to make the track. This would also affect the build limit on your map. It's a nice idea but don't waste your time everyone, just build a flying machine.
A few good points, but I have this set up to take me directly to my bases in each biome. It definitely doesn’t fit every use case but it has saved me a ton of time transporting material. Not to mention I have not fallen off of it and get stranded in the middle of nowhere like the flying ships I built.
