How could he be allowed to ref a game in the premiership after that clear biased behaviour? If he ever earns a penny from football again, then the company employing him needs to be boycotted.

On hearing Dean’s extraordinary revelation that whilst on VAR he was looking after a mate rather than send him to look at the screen Howard Webb must wish he had hair to pullout! Webb must be so exasperated and wondering what next? As fans watching we can be heard questioning how a trained VAR official can miss that when it’s blatantly obvious to everyone else! Moving forward Howard Webb has an enormous amount of work to do to repair the integrity of his officials because those of us who were already questioning integrity will be thinking every obvious decision missed or obvious mistakes not dealt with by VAR are due to a biased or corrupt official! Why is it always football with all the obscene money swirling around that can’t get it right when other sports do? Simple answer, there is not enough transparency……..

Two parts, one admitting to not being impartial as being a possibility for one of the longest serving referees and secondly the way they view VAR as being something that they are punished with.
