I wish they added more tracks to play in the background. Yes, the theme we all know and love is beautiful but I wish there were more tracks.
Awesome content man, I don't play these games anymore, maybe sometimes here and there, but I've always just found a lot of entertainment in casted AOE2 games, or AOE3 from @AussieDrongo, so it's refreshing to see a new game that's actually super entertaining (RIP AOE4) with an equally entertaining commentator. Keep up the casts my guy
7:16 In the original game units thrown by cyclops would also crush trees. This new aoe3 de engine is acting weird...
Also no decaying bodies on the ground..Kinda sad..

'new' aoe3de engine is the old aom engine improved. The matter of the thrown projectile destroying or not trees is 1 line of code.
@@ardaarsen I think the're working on the performances of animations. The cyclops throwing of units is goofy, but they added it so players can get an idea. Maybe in the full release, all Those little things will be fixed

As Odin I would always focus on cavalry. His perks just work so well with cavalry along with his age up choices. Regenerating raiding cavalry is great for harassing villagers. Rush in, kill a few, then back out and regenerate elsewhere

Wanna see a Poseidon game where there is no Ares, but Hermes instead (Assuming the match up and map allows it), legacy AoM didn't allow Poseidon to go Hippikon+Centaur (was ineficient, thas why Centaur's was more a Zeus thing) , but with the way Hermes' Spirited charged was reworked makes me think it was tunned for matching Poseion's specific bonnuses, even the new version of Winged Messenger fits this raiding strat. I hope @Matreiuss or @Ulyses can show us this in some point, this strat would require high level apm and micro; what a dream Hippies+Centaur+Pegasus and Atalanta the fastest Hero now accesible in Classical age.. pffff, Thats a game I would surely watch with pop-corn.

Well Ares' Spear of Panic now gives Hoplit, Militia, and Prodromoi (all the units that have spears!) divine attack bonus. While Deimos' Sword of Dread enables Hypaspists in the Age II. I image most going with Ares against norse as a counter attack. I thought that was the stretegy here. Hypaspists+Prodromoi would crush all the units that Odin trained.
They should finally bring these games to Mac. It’s so frustrating as a Mac user because new Mac’s run these games fine.

Yes, they can run it fine, but the Devs also have to spend a lot of time configuring the game to actually run on Apple computers. This means configuring the game to work with only one mouse button as well, and very, very, very few Mac users actually game on them.

Poseidón renoob , si tiene un héroe rápido, que acompañe a la caballería más podromoss 50/50. Los nortucos que hacen con lanzador de hachas si casi o no hay infantería. Mejor invierte ese recurso en economía o huskar que tiene bonus contra caballería. Poseidón es terco con la caballería, muy mala estrategia

ElMatador no es noob baby, Basandose en el match-up usual Odin/Possy no seria raro que Odin se fuera caballeria; entiendo que se fuera Ares (para tener Hispaspistas a mano en caso de que Odin no se fuera caballeria) pero no pudo aprovechar el push Inicial de Cyclope, (y no estubo lejos de conseguirlo de hecho), creo que subestimo al oponente; Talvez debio irse Hermes, para tener caballeria mas rapida y raidear para hacer tiempo hasta heroica (claro raidear no es lo mas facil en Alfehim)
@@bananatheseus4516 no es así baby, para eso tiene un explorador y sacas contra unidades, nadie tiene 20 unidades de caballería instantáneamente para justificarse de que no la vio venir y se confió.
honestly its better to freeze only half of the enemy armee if possible or 3 quarters kinda ... that disables enough enemy Attack power so that you can crush the rest with overwhelming force and will in the end have more value for you than freezing them all and dealing substantial no damage ( while to be fair taking zero in Return)
did i not talk about that during this vid? Maybe it was another. But i talk about trying to just freeze half an army like a stasis so u can clean up half an army or at least make half leave the clean the other half

Both players played so good. Avely was amazing, but I just don't get the point why making so many Riders and Throwing Axe man against Hippikon, and she win still. Something seems really wrong. Imagine having some Ulfshark against those hippikons

Yep, he's not at the very top but top 50 I think. I remember a few years ago I met him multiple times on the ladder at ~1900 ELO. He has improved a lot since then.
He's a pretty fast player (high APM). I guess that's also why he likes cav and multipronged attacks. Strategy wise there's still room for improvement but I guess this game is new to him. I wanted him to get the regeneration tech for his cav. Would have easily paid for itself with how many he had and I think it's not that expensive.
