FREE camp along the Eyre Highway South Australia

Heading along the Nullarbor we came across this free camp!
✔ Toilets
✔ Dog friendly
✔ Dump point
Currently owned by the Matthews family who have kindly opened up their descendants home for all to enjoy.
So sit back, grab something cold and ENJOY!

I think it’s absolutely fantastic that the owners allow everyone to camp there free of charge and explore this beautiful farm house. I’d have to say the oven would have to be my favorite antique. My husband and I are farmers in South Australia. There are so many abandoned farm homesteads in SA because as the older farmers either retire or pass away, many of the younger generations either sell the farms or lease them to other farmers. The farming in SA can be tough, being the driest state in Australia, and many of the young ones have seen their parents working extremely hard for sometimes very little gain and want no part of it. Constant government interference in our farming businesses is putting people off of farming too! There are much easier ways to make a living. The mid north in SA has hundreds of deserted farmhouses. Love your videos!

That is a great idea for the family to open the homestead for camping toilets etc safe area on a night time surely there in cctv on the property to leave it open like that love the drone shots and information of the areas you visit in your country hi from Ireland ☘️🇮🇪🌧️
