I'm not trying to start a big stupid Marvel vs. DC debate, I just wanted to say that Marvel Legacy have been making some major improvements in their comics lately and I've been enjoying it.

I think the biggest problem with some of the "Legacy"(venom in this case) is that unlike DC's n52, some of the characters mythos was just deeply fleshed out before "Marvel Rebirth" came along. Which what I think is causing a divide between the venom fans. On one side we have the Brock fans who loved the original "gritty/savage" nature of the venom and Thompson fans who basically for the most part, enjoyed the expanded mythos of the Klyntar arcs because the Symbiote never originally had one. They've expanded so much on the Klyntar-Venom mythos but with Brock back, they're almost trying to ignore it save for Venom now being some kind of good guy. This is where the problem lies, with DC Rebirth for example Superman already had a lot of mythos even before n52 and all DC had to do was choose the best from pre52 and n52. Venom doesn't have that, so returning Venom to the original "status quo" will really be a slap to Thompson fans, with basically Marvel saying "Hey! all those 6 years of buying Agent Venom comics? They're now basically worthless! Tudaloo M****fr!" At least that what I read in most posts regarding Venom Legacy. But as I've said, some characters really do need a "Legacy rebirth". Biggest example with be imFosThor because a lot of the Thor mythos has already been fleshed out even before ANAD.

Metamorphosis (growing spider body parts and or turning in to a spider) , regeneration , spidersense and organic webbing are mystical , the rest are from the radiation. Why those power can come and go at times but the strength and walking on walls always stay. And yes there was a time when he lost his spidersense.
I know he lost his Spider Sense at one point. He was trained by Shang-Chi in martial arts to compensate. Although I never actually read that story so I don't know how he lost it. Do you know what book or books it was so I can read it?
I think it was right before Spider Island and he lost it because of some type of device that was protecting against something and Spider-man trained with the freaking Iron-Fist himself at one point.

Dear God almighty I loved this story. I'm buying it. First complete comic story I'm ever going to buy and it won't be the last. One thing I do gotta say that was left out of the story, is that Lee Price still had the Mania Symbiote on him after the "cleanse" Thompson was the one who said it himself. Also, I love how Venom just disappeared while he was basically getting the "he's ok/you did good son" speech from Thompson in the middle of a handshake. I completely forgot Venom can go invisible.
My preferred line-up: Spider-man - Peter Parker - Doc Ock is at a close 2nd w/ Miles not too far behind in 3rd but peter is so funny it tips it for me. Venom - Thunderbolt Ross - Red Hulk / Venom / Ghost Rider. Need I say more? Carnage - Cletus Kasady - Given. Toxin - Eddie Brock - Mulligan was neat but Eddie was far more interesting as him imo. Anti-Venom - Flash Thompson - It's so sweet to see the full potential of anti-venom when he's not a mindless healing beast!
Great video Rob. One thing I need to mention though; Killing the Master in JC Vampire did not cure you of vampirism; it just releases the subject from being bound to their maker. James woods character was able to dispatch the master vampire, but his partner (one of the Baldwin’s) and the girl who turned him remained as vampires. Also I have to brush up on part 2, but they introduced the choice option where people could become human again by having the infected vampire blood removed via dialysis.
This might be one of my favorite stories involving Venom & Spider-Man in a long time, I did always wish/feel like Eddie was great as Anti-Venom & Flash as Agent Venom, but to see this 2 flipped like this is pretty cool & I hope they bring Black-Cat to being the theif with a heart of gold character she once was, it'll be interesting seeing Flash having to learn about this new symbiot & having Eddie & Venom the original pair going down a path of redemption together now that they both don't want to be "The Lethal Protector" but be actually heroes.....although I hope they go somewhere between these 2 ideas... I like a violent but good Venom

I feel like this plays perfect. Eddie had his redemption. And like you said for eddie. I think its time flash went through that change because hes definately done more good than bad. But we cant shut out theres times he lost control. And personally i feel the anti venom symbiote suits him and his purpose more. And than you dont have him on drugs all the time and what not. I think logicly its the best fit because flash is still venom. But think of it in a bigger picture. Hes always been an anti-venom through his actions in my oppinion

I have the Venom Inc. storyline in single issues, and I have to say that it's quite underrated. If you're a fan of either Spider-man or Venom, I'd recommend it.

Yeah I grew up always seeing brock as venom. I watched the 90's Spider-Man, show read some of the comics, and ultimately missed out on a huge part of comics up until I found and read the anti venom comic where he saves that girl from some drug abuse. It just didn't jive well with me. Flash was cool and made a decent hero, but already we have enough web slingers as it is. Besides venom had pretty much the same concept as anti venom for awhile when he became "the lethal protector).
Yeah, I always felt flash Thomspon getting Venom and putting Venom on a path to redemption was a cool story. Venom: "Why do you care about these people, they're like cattle." Flash: "Because I'm a soldier, and I do what needs to be done. They're innocent."
I liked this story alot more than I thought I would have. I just still don't understand why they ignored the Toxin character like they did. Spiderman may have had a bad 90s but he had a worse 2000's in that great elements were introduced but then dropped too soon, then there was the ".....what?" moments. Toxin defined that. He was introduced as the offspring of Carnage that was stronger than both venom and carnage. It ended up on a cop but they canceled his series, then he ended up with Eddie YEARS later with almost zero explanation of what happened to the former host. Then...it disappeared at venom 150 when Eddie was introduced without it.
In the past, the first Anti-Venom symbiote was basically immune to heat and sonics, so the second version should be too. Either way, Flash would have been fine.

I feel like this plays perfect. Eddie had his redemption. And like you said for eddie. I think its time flash went through that change because hes definately done more good than bad. But we cant shut out theres times he lost control. And personally i feel the anti venom symbiote suits him and his purpose more. And than you dont have him on drugs all the time and what not. I think logicly its the best fit because flash is still venom. But think of it in a bigger picture. Hes always been an anti-venom through his actions in my oppinion

I have the Venom Inc. storyline in single issues, and I have to say that it's quite underrated. If you're a fan of either Spider-man or Venom, I'd recommend it.

How have their characters changed over time? Does Loki have a bigger respect for Thor now? If you already made a video of it, I can probably find it, but I think that would be an interesting topic.
Yeah I grew up always seeing brock as venom. I watched the 90's Spider-Man, show read some of the comics, and ultimately missed out on a huge part of comics up until I found and read the anti venom comic where he saves that girl from some drug abuse. It just didn't jive well with me. Flash was cool and made a decent hero, but already we have enough web slingers as it is. Besides venom had pretty much the same concept as anti venom for awhile when he became "the lethal protector).

I liked this story alot more than I thought I would have. I just still don't understand why they ignored the Toxin character like they did. Spiderman may have had a bad 90s but he had a worse 2000's in that great elements were introduced but then dropped too soon, then there was the ".....what?" moments. Toxin defined that. He was introduced as the offspring of Carnage that was stronger than both venom and carnage. It ended up on a cop but they canceled his series, then he ended up with Eddie YEARS later with almost zero explanation of what happened to the former host. Then...it disappeared at venom 150 when Eddie was introduced without it.
In the past, the first Anti-Venom symbiote was basically immune to heat and sonics, so the second version should be too. Either way, Flash would have been fine.
