Mr. Green, this is just EXCELLENT! I grew up with the Maine Central in Waterville from 1960's - early 1980's. All this Harvest yellow brings back great memories! What an outstanding job you have done re-creating a portion many of us who remember it. Thanks so much for sharing!
I have always liked the look of the Maine Central power and caboose. It was one railroad I was going to base mine on. In the end I went with mostly GT Blue and Red current, NH Black and Orange for older units and CN Black and Red for all modern (1994 to 1996) 6 axle units. All my Caboose are based on the DWP 53101. Why? All those units are easy to patch over with my own road, air brush over the old logo and stick my logo on.
This layout is amazing! And btw i work for Conway Scenic Railroad in NH and we have 573, 255 and 252 all in operating service up here on the mountain division. Love to see these engines on a layout after having the chance to be a new locomotive engineer and running all 3. Very cool layout sir!
Actually got a little excited as I watched these consists moving around. Sure brings back pleasant memories of railfanning in Waterville/Fairfield from '83 to '88. I saw 3 consists, but only the last one was a mix. Don't remember if I ever saw a consist of more than 3 locos that wasn't a mix of some kind. Once watched a train leave Waterville for Bangor. It had 9 units. I took pictures of most, and there was some of each group in it except maybe the U25's. I'm talking the the 38's, 18's, and high hood & low hood 7's and a former L&N low nose. Those were the days to watch trains in Maine! Thanks for your video. Look forward to more.
Thanks Cam. I could watch your videos all day long.

Jeff, I have enjoyed riding the Conway Scenic on my trips back to Maine. I am so happy that they saw fit to save those engines.
