Shaky live vocals probably played a huge part on those results. Can't have songs that are built on good vocals and not be able to provide them.
please, Cyprus sending another bop just after the HUGE impression Eleni had with Fuego... it was meant to be it wouldn't be forgotten that easily. IMO they're bound to be in the middle if they keep on doing this without trying to change something...
As for Malta, come on PLEASE, the staging was AWFUL, it DESTROYED the song and made everything looked childish and she had 0 presence on stage... I loved the song and the clip, it looked very mature, the staging and the performance showed... the exact opposite...

Juries can vote for their Top 10 countries, so it's more likely that the non-fan favourites get points with the juries.
Televoters vote for the No. 1 favourite song. A song like Germany's isn't exactly going to be many people's favourites, and even if it is, it still needs to make it into the Top 10.
Also what has Germany got to do with Spain's entry...? I said neither the jury nor televoters loved Spain that much - so from who, are people demanding 'justice' for Spain? Typically when we say an entry is robbed, it's because there is a big difference in the voting between televoters and jury - Norway 2019 was 'robbed' by the juries...
So I ask again lol, what has Germany got to do with anything.

I think Belarus, Malta, and Cyprus all canceled each other out. The vote for the dancy blond female singer was split :-(

For no 1 both votes really should be unanimous (funny enough they were for NL, IT and RU) idk how to do that but that difference was staggering
I disagree - the jury has its flaws but it should be there to help countries with:
- poor placing in the running order
- entries not in English
- songs with culture significance
- songs which are forward-thinking, niche and are from genres which aren't the usual for the Eurovision stage
- songs from smaller countries
They need to just regulate the juries better, and maybe do a 40 - 60 split, to make sure the European population has more of a say over who wins.
I wasnt arguing against the jury in general tho? Just this instance feels icky

@@knusprigeschuhsohle7939 I agree with you as well - there just shouldn't be such a massive difference between the jury and the televote winner. It's happened in the past where a contender for the Top 5 has been underestimated by the jury, but I don't think it's ever happened for a country which came No. 1 in the televote.
When I read your comment saying 'For no 1, both votes really should be unanimous' - I presumed you meant any Eurovision winner should come first in both the jury and televote, so I was saying I disagreed with that because winners like Ukraine in 2016, Sweden in 2015 and Netherlands in 2019 didn't win both the televote and jury but I thought definitely deserved to win overall!
I think I may have misunderstood what you were saying though and I do agree! An overall winner should come Top 5 in both the jury and Televote, and a country like Norway shouldn't have been so hurt by the jury

I generally think that is why us in the uk don't send decent singers as when we do we don't get votes so what is the point as whoever we send it's literally like career suicide as unless we don't really get top 10 or at least the left hand side of the board at the end they disappear
