Thanks for the video. Everything went according to plan. 24.04 is so good. Only one minor issue I have found in running it for a week, when I download a program, when it is finished downloading, I can't open it from the Software Centre [unless a recent update has fixed it]. Of course I can use it and open it the normal way. Definitely worth giving it a go. Very stable in my use of it.
My Buddy, Ubuntu 24.04 Has Not been currently released means it's still in development branch and will be released on 25th April 2024. We advise you to backup your all data and have the latest Ubuntu 23.04 or 23.10 But the odd Versions of ubuntu Like 23.04 and 23.10 will be only supported till 9 months after release date so We suggest you that you should use Ubuntu 22.04 and when 24.04 Version is released follow the steps given in this video to upgrade to that latest version

available from the latest supported release. There has to be a way to do it with 23.10.
yes it's. If you want to upgrade early, before upgrades are officially supported, you can pass the -d option when running update-manager.(sudo update-manager -d)
I am also still waiting for the official announcement of the update.

Same but I'm not using Update Manager and I'm on Kubuntu, it says no new Ubuntu update available
@@iamtheabdi iv tried it both ways in the terminal and the manager...both say no new LTS just 23.10. On Ubuntu Mate

@@blueshells50 wait for it, people said it'll take 2-4 weeks to push out a bug fix update which will also enable updating from existing versions. I myself have given up on it, I'll update it just before 24.10 comes out.
