    After seeing this I think Honda would be wise to offer a lifted version as an option. Looks good!

      J J76 Honda does offer a kit. Not sure if they did at the time you made this comment but it's there now and the Ridgeline looks great.

    Ok, now this is what the new model needed. The lift and tires work just right. Great engineering--efficient and creative.

    We just installed one of these kits. The spacer supplied doesn't fit over the control arm bolt, had to force the bolt into it. Lots of slag all over the mounts from welding. The rear spacer's finish was...rough to say the least. Trying to install the factory bolts with the rear spacers is interesting, there's limited clearance to get a socket on the bolts. Also, the sway bar links are exactly the same as an Odyssey. Would recommend using the factory Odyssey ones vs the Moog supplied ones.

    Installed a similar lift by Traxda on my 2014 Ridgeline, had to replace the axles as well because of the shimmy it developed after the install. I wouldn’t recommend a lift unless your truck comes from the manufacture with the lift installed.

    Hi!
    I am very interested in one of your sets of 2” lift for my Honda Passport 2019 AWD.
    I fund 2 sets of your products but am confused to which one to choose.
    Part # 202034 TX 2”/1.5” or
    Part # 202033 TX 2”
    What are the difference between the 2?
    Regards, Erick

    Folks, do you make a lift kit for the Honda Pilot 2014 too? I have seen kits for the Pilot until the year 2011. Thanks a lot.

      Rahul Rane I’m interested in their 2” lift for my 2014 Pilot too. Curious though as to the effect on CoE and handling/cornering, especially emergency maneuvers. I suspect might have to go to wider tires to offset?

    Looks good, are you also providing longer rear sway bar links? Are you also seeing these kits being put in and the inner C/V joints pulling apart or causing a vibration due to the angles changing from stock ?

      You betcha it will affect the handling and CV lifespan.
      But people looking to do this mod rarely cares how his cars handle or how it will age.

    • @Nippledozer
      @Nippledozer Před 7 lety +5

      Tony Montana I lifted my old Ridgeline 2 inches and drive it like a madman, some small jumps and plenty of off roading, most i ever had happen was a cv boot that leaked grease, and I believe it has put strain on my power steering pump. Worth it, though. Keep in mind the older vehicles had larger, seemingly more rugged suspension components

    AWD light, VSA light, Power steering light, Hill climb asset light, Tow light, Brake light. Gives you the same drive quality! One they severely messed up my lift at the shop or two this is normal for a leveling kit. But how can Traxda claim it gives the same performance if I lose so much of what I need in a AWD truck.

      Hi!
      I just got this kit... am about to get it install.
      Did you do a wheel alignment after install?
      You'll need a recalibration on the sensors, otherwise you'll get those warnings on the dash. It just happened to my Passport, my wife and my older daughter used my car couple of times and both hit the curbs bad as my wheels were rash badly.
      The did realignment and recalibrate the sensors. The car in working nice... I am sure, that I'll get those warnings again the the lift is install.
      Regards, Erick

    Spacers are a bad idea, good way to get coil bind. Better to have longer spring from the get go.

    • @acephantom903
      @acephantom903 Před 5 lety

      I've heard that set up will give you just under 11 inches of clearance. Maybe closer to 10.5. If you throw on any underside protection and it is back down to 9.5.

    • @bmwmsport11
      @bmwmsport11 Před 6 lety +1

      It would throw the suspension geometry way off and require lots of testing to develop a kit that keeps everything in line while offering the kit. Too costly, might as well buy something else.

      I had a professional do mine and he said than he would not recommend a lift more than 3” on the ridgeline because of the unibody frame. I have a 2” lift with a larger tire and it looks great. Nice height but doesn’t look ridiculous.

      @angelamonteleone510 Před 6 lety

      You add a 2” lift kit on a taco and it too as it’s problems. It develops vibrations. Of course there is a quick fix. But, you got to know what to do. Second gen. Ridgline have only been around a few years. This set up is only the bigining. I don’ have a Ridgeline but I’m watching them.
