Thank you! So helpful. Can you do bronzer next? And how to blend the bronzer and blush together to not make it look muddy. Thank you!
I second that. 🙂
That’s my problem always! Sooooo helpful a video addressing these questions!
I would like a video on that also! :)
from 3 years ago maybe she can make an updated version.
This is what I was going to ask. I feel my bronze and blush can look muddy sometimes so a tutorial on blending both would be great. 😊
Andreea is the first influencer who has actually “influenced” me. 🌸🌸 Recently spent a small fortune on makeup at Sephora solely on products that she recommended. 💕💕I’m in my early 40’s and have fallen in love with makeup after watching her videos.
I never really thought about it but she is the first "influencer" that influences me as well. I use her tips and product suggestions often.
I love my products that I have bought at her suggestion.
I'm in the same spot. It helps that her approach is much more appealing than what I would usually consider as influencers. What I mean is she won't insist on recommending you certain products in a biased way. Instead, she'll give advices and really focus on backing them with arguments, as well as properly showing the do's and don'ts in an educational and non-judgmental way. I always feel like I've learned something after I watch her videos, and my wallet is certainly the better for it too.
Same here. Fully influenced me. Bought a lot of make up and i do make up like pro. Feel like a lady😇🤩
😍🥰thats nice
Me too! ❤️
Cheers to Andreea for being a literal make-up tutor who guides us and inspires us so so much!
She is the best ❤️
Love this channel because it is not about buying new products. It's about learning how to better apply makeup and find the right product for you.
Dynasty omg..you kill me! Thank you for the education as well as always making me laugh!
Hallelujah! I got a cream blush a few months ago and couldn't work it with a brush. Then I tried with my fingers but trying to spread it over my cheek removed my foundation and I had trouble softening the edges (always looked like a sharp line)! Tried it with a sponge today and I got the best soft edges I've ever seen. Thanks so much!
I just loved, loved, loved this video! I'm almost 54 and I have rediscovered the art of makeup with you, Andreea. Your are amazing! Thank you.
I'd like to see you place powder blush on a clean face to see where it should actually go and how it should be applied. Thank you for such a helpful video and I'd also love to see one for bronzers.
Yes please!!!
How refreshing to get a video on actual technique and guidance on choosing the right makeup colors / types. This would make a great series!
I love this. Can you do one of these for highlighters? I have texture on my skin, and I would love to learn how to use this kind of product, but no matter what I can achieve a good look with it
I have the same problem. Try tarte glow wand!!!! It is amazing!!!! Zero texture.
m
That transformation when you applied the first blush was beautiful 🥰
Love these types of videos! Techniques are so important. I love hearing about new products as much as the next person but knowing how to use any product is more important
Amazing video! Can you do one for bronzer? ❤️❤️❤️
Yes agree
Yessssss💙💙💙

The most comprehensive and logical blush tutorial on the internet. Thank you because I was making several mistakes!
This was so helpful for applying cream blush! I would love to see how you use different brush shapes or a dry sponge to apply powder blush too!
This was extremely helpful especially your knowledge on choosing the correct color shade based on undertone. Would love more content on undertones and 💄 makeup. Especially for us older gals. Thank you.
Me too! I bought my first quality lipstick last year based on her recommendation and I love it!
Yes! And also a bit more detail about how to determine blush placement for square and round faces as you demonstrated. Thank you!
I’m loving the Ilia cream blush. It has amazing staying power even under masks. I do have a longer thin oval face and blush placement is crucial for me. It does make my face look less severe and more youthful and plump to place in the center of my cheeks to make more rounded. I use my highlighter in a rounded fashion too, to carve out that rounded look.
Your videos have such an authentic vibe. Tyia for being so relatable❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've been recently searching for good creamy blushes (as I literally love blushes) and... here it comes. Thank you so much for this knowledge!
This takes me back when i had to do notes while watching your tutorials. Very informative, very well explained and i'm happy you included info for all shin tones/types/shapes. I loved this video❤❤❤❤
I have oily skin and use the Nars liquid blush. I choose a light pink shade, and then top it with a matte powder blush with a similar shade as the liquid. Blush stays longer on my skin.
0:38 I actually love when artists share their work on YT not just their tutorial/educational videos. 😊
Love this! How about a series,,, bronzer, highlight, concealer etc...?
Ok, this was the most helpful explanation for blush placement on normal people, like me, I ever watched. Thank you❣ This was so necessary. Love it❣❣ Thank you
Really helpful! I do wish you would've mentioned cool toned skin at deeper depths - for some reason it seems like a lot of people assume cool-toned can only be light-skinned blonde people and not mentioning cool-toned at deeper depths may contribute to that myth. As an ethnic woman with cool-toned skin, it took me over 30 years to realize I had cool-toned olive light/medium skin and could never find the right foundation because of this myth and makeup counter salespeople always tried putting yellow toned foundations on me that looked totally off!
the very first time I went to a salesperson she said my skin is delicate, I was very young and didn't know what it meant but thanks to CZcams and some experimentation I realized I am warm and delicate, one of the most overlooked tones, ofc there's always someone who can help if you keep looking
i’m light olive and i have the problem too that a lot of foundations will either look pink or yellow on me. I’ve managed to prevent this from happening by dotting on some nyx green color corrector around my face and then going in with my foundation, just blending it together with the green. Its perfect.
Lisa Eldridge another fabulous make-up artist has her own foundation range and so many tones. There are definitely olive undertones in her range, and you can buy testers of four to try out first, and I think they are £2.00 each! Lovely foundation too. I love it. I’m only a customer btw.
You always get straight to the point and I LOVE that. Everyone else wastes our time talking random for minutes.
This is the best video I have ever watched regarding blush. You covered every question I have ever had about formula, placement and tools to use. I am one of those whose blush lasts about 5 minutes then disappears. It is so frustrating! Despite seeking advice from the “professionals” at cosmetic counters and stores, I have never found a blush that lasts. I have been layering cream blush then powder blush which does help but I use my fingers for the cream. I am going to try using a blender, which you suggest. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to checking out your other videos. At 71 years old, I still love makeup and I’m always looking to improve my techniques. Thank you!
Such a professional. I enjoy your content, thank you Andrea and Alex.
You make the world better with your humor and generous spirit of education. Thank you for a relaxing weekend video!
I love Andreea's pet peeves with the placement of the blush, not only educational, but so entertaining!!😂 ❤️
Your makeup on this tutorial looks absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for such an informative session
Wow you talked about so many of my fave cream and powder blushes! Can't wait to try out your other recommendations yay!🤩
I feel so late in the game to discover your channel. Love how you explain everything!! I'm 48 years old and learning new things. I'm guilty of applying blush on the apples of my cheeks, duh! 😳 Total game changer 😊
Again, one of the most useful videos on blush EVER! Thank you very much, Andreea🌹
I have learned SOOO much from this channel! A lot of the mistakes I've realized I was making were basic ones, beginner mistakes, even though I've been using makeup for well over thirty years now. I usually do more of a natural, look because I'm pale and freckly, but also older. Your tutorials have helped me be able to really perfect that look and truly enjoy wearing makeup again. Thank you!
I am such a huge fan of your work! I feel like since I found you, my make up application and product selection has improved a million times. Although I still mess up my blush because I still apply too much I think. Sometimes it’s hard to separate where the bronzer, highlighter and blush go. So I typically only do two of the three but not all 3. I think we could use a video where you draw more visible lines on your face of where exactly each of these products go, because when you just apply them on and blend we can hardly see it, so maybe with a visible marker on a manikin or something, so we can visualize exactly where it goes
you're such a nice, real, relatable young lady and such a competent professional that I could listen to you for hours, I even watch videos about products that I don't use, such al self tanners, just because it's like listening to a friend and there's always something interesting to learn. so glad I found your channel
Another super helpful video Andrea, muchas gracias!! 🥰 I’m excited to try these techniques as I have oily skin and blush is often the first thing to go. Would love to see some of your skincare tips for your skin type and what products/techniques have worked well for you! ♥️
Since the day I started to watch Andreea's channel, everytime I'm doing my makeup, I hear her voice giving me advices from the videos! LOL. Love you, Andreea! you are so sweet and such a great teacher.
This was the best explanation of blush I’ve seen. I would love to see a video on how to place a full face of make-up- contour, bronzer, blush and highlighter. Except for contour, many of these products go on similar sections of the face. It would be great to see how to layer & place these products so that they have a purpose & are not just covering the other up
Fabulous video, great tips for product types for skin type, and beautiful colours, I especially want to try layering products more and I appreciate your tip on cream then powder blusher on-top for longevity! I enjoy all your videos and you have reignited my love for makeup and you are so down to earth and hilarious!!! Thankyou💓
The best mua here on youtube with the most helpful videos 🙌🏻 So grateful for these tips 💕
Thank you sooo much! I've never applied the blush because all the time I tried I looked ridiculous. After watching your explanation and tips it starts to look good. I still have to practice, but your film is so helpful. Have a nice day!🌻
OMG! finally a blush video worth watching. Thank you for taking the time to explain every question I have about blush. I have been doing it wrong for years and have tried so many colors but just can't figure it out. I feel more confident now going in and making a proper choice. I love your videos! Please keep them coming! Your beautiful not just outside but inside too. I love that I can laugh at your little comments too. You make the videos fun and informative. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!!
That description of what happens when you're blushing has definitely happened to me! ☺
Yes!! Been waiting for you to do a video like this!!!! I love when you do these videos! Could you do one on how to select blush colors that complement different eye shadow and lipstick color combos ?
Oh my gosh this is exactly the video I need! I'm terrible with blush 😂 would love to see another do's and don'ts with makeup like you have done in the past but updated 😀🙌🏼
Thank you Andreea, I didnt realize I had picked up some bad habits with my blush application and I was disappointed with my makeup and didnt know why, now I know about my blush. What else am I doing wrong is now what I am trying to work out.
Wow this is probably the best instructional video on blush that I have seen yet. Bravo!!!
I love how blush is sooo in trend right now. I always loved the youthful effect, and I never get the very bronzed look. And I think blush look good in everyone. I think that the saturation of color depends of your contrast level and the tone sometimes you csn play with it. Im neutral tending to warm, and I hate when I apply neutral blushes they look very warm, off course warm blushes looks extremely warm. So, I use cool tone blushes and actually looks perfect.
Great advice as always! Thank you Andrea
I needed this video so much! I have such a hard time with the placement of blush and picking the right color. Thank you!
What a fantastic video. Full of such great information. I cant wait to try applying my cream blush with a sponge as up till now its either fingers ( i dont like the finish) or a brush. I love the Fenty cream blush but those Glossier colours look stunning. As always, thank you for sharing your expertise with us! Take care and stay safe xx
The best makeup artist plus a good teacher...
Very informative and always a joy! I've recently purchased a couple blushes I've seen you use and I love them!
Love, Love, Love this video I learned soooooooo much. Blush has always been a rather elusive part of my makeup process because I never could seem to get it just right despite watching so many tutorials online (I just follow you now.) Thank you for teaching us in a clear and empathetic manner. Yes, I don't want to look like some 80's soap star I just want to look pretty and refreshed instead of looking like I came down with some sort of sad clown sickness. So kudos once again on another fantastic video.
Thank you for the valuable tips! I'm wondering if you could demonstrate how to apply blush and bronzer?I still get confused about both honestly. And also what to skip during summer? Xx
Love, love your videos!
You are a true professional!
You made me rekindle my love for makeup with your super informative and helpful videos. Just purchased new makeup because of your videos and I am not easily persuaded. Inspiring!
Thank you for the information! I love how well you explain/demonstrate everything. I love your technique. ❣️
This is just what I needed, I've been doing mine wrong for years 😳 xxx
The perfect Sunday morning, a cup of coffee and Ali Andreea ♥️♥️
Based on Andreea's tutorials, I've been able to finally choose a blush texture & colour that work for me rather than all the hit & miss (usually miss) I used to do. In addition, my placement is finally correct for my age & face shape. Oh & the Rephr brushes are amazing... Thank you so much!
This is fantastic! You could do a whole series! Foundation, concealer, bronzer. Great tutorial! Blush is my most confusing product! I usually avoid it bc I don’t know where to put it.. so I’m glad to get some tips!
I'm so excited for Andreea to reach 1 million subscribers and then she will receive her YT award. Not long to go now, keep sharing people! 💄👑🎉👏💕💖💋💅🙋😘💐
woooooooo!!!!!!
@@jennmagana oh yeahhh!!! 😃
Have been thinking about this too lately!! ❤️
@@polina_lago we can all pop a glass of bubbles on Ali's behalf! I've seen a few channels emulate her ideas and style of video but Ali is still the absolute original and the best! With her humour, class, professional filming quality, impeccable taste and excellent way of teaching colours, applications and the rest, Ali absolutely deserves the award. I'm sure her Aunty and niece and other loved ones who have made an appearance will be very proud of this coming achievement!
@@Yogi_in_the_Gobi Absolutely! 💛 Just let's call her Andreea, which is actually her first name, while Ali is her second name 🤗 I can totally understand, why you got misled by the channel name, but I remember that Andreea explained in one of her old videos that this was done on purpose, cause there are many other channels that begin by Andrea/Andreea, and she wanted to stand out a bit by starting the channel name with her surname.. )
Please also lighter skin olive undertones.Omgosh!! You're almost to 1m!!!! Congratulations in advance! I've been with you for years. 💛💜💛💐💐💐
I also have olive undertones and i would like to know what colour my blush should be☺️
Same! I always find peachy blushes are brilliant and make me look more alive than pink or rouge !
Yes please!
For me the blushes with orange/peach undertones look the best. The pink/lilac ones look awful, like my skin has a rash or something.
I appreciate this video! Thanks for explaining techniques and formulas for different skin types.
I love watching Andrea, she is so beautiful, so down to earth, a wonderful instructor. Thankyou for this blush instruction. I was doing it incorrectly, so watched this several times to get it right. My coloring is medium with red undertone. Finding foundation that is not too golden is definitely a challenge. Pink blush seems to be my “go to”.
Hi Andreea! I would really like a more in depth video regarding the tone, undertone of the skin and give us some examples on models maybe. And also how to determine the type of the skin. I for example have some combination skin, but I also have dry patches and most of the foundations look bad on me. It's hard for me to figure out what foundations are good for me but also to choose the right colour since my neck is lighter than my face.
Omg this is the video I've been waiting for! Thank you sooo much andrea for doing this🥰... I would love to know how to apple blush for heart shaped faces??? Thank you in advance
You truly have the heart of an educator. So well explained and easy to understand. Wonderful!
EXCELLENT VIDEO!! So helpful!! thanks Andrea!
Will you do a full face tutorial using same brand products? Summer Bronze? For dry skin. ♥️♥️♥️
You need to do a in person master class! I would so go! :)
This is probably one of the best makeup “tutorial” videos I’ve ever watched because not only is it incredibly informational with only using relevant information, but it is also entertaining. Plus it didn’t make me stressed 😅
The other day I was thinking about the first video of you that I had watched which again was in this format (wrong side, right side and common mistakes) and I wished you made that again. Now I'm so glad you felt that energy and replied to it, it is very interesting, useful and you should keep doing these!
One thing I was wondering about, what do you think about putting a touch of blush on the nose and/or forehead? I've seen others do it, wondered if that was a no no.
I’ll love to see this guidelines applied to a night time make up look, love from Colombia 🇨🇴🙌🏻
same :)
OMG! I am so thankful for this video! I was always applying blush with a brush. I just tried to apply it with a beauty blender and it looks so much better! Amazing! Thank you so much! 🥰🥰🥰
I love darker blush sparingly applied to my light skin, too light blush colors just sit on top and doesn’t look like it’s coming from within my skin. Fabulous tips for blush, thank you!!
I died at the MBHB/BHB abbreviations😂 love you❤️
Dior Rose Baiser is discontinued. Do you have a recommendation for a cool-toned light pink alternative?
Thank for sharing your knowledge with us. I had no idea to apply cream blush with a sponge and it looks beautiful! I'm looking forward to watching your videos and learning as much as I can. Thanks again. 😘
Thank you for such detailed tutorial. This made me swatch all my blushes and I realized majority of them should fit my fair and cool skin tone and undertone. Also I identified the shimmer in two blushes and a warm brown undertone in one.
As a makeup enthusiast and medical professional- I love love love gaining new knowledge! Especially learning from a makeup professional as yourself. Thanks for these well made videos. Blessings
maybe focus on knowledge that's actually useful so people in the medical field aren't the third leading cause of death due to negligence and medical malpractice.
what about blush on the nose and the latest trend that is going around to apply it on the cheekborn to get a lifted face ?
do u find it okay ?
I wanted to thank you, this is a very valuable video, which clearly shows what mistakes not to make. Or fix what we do and do not notice that it only disfigures us and does not emphasize our beauty
Of all the youtubers teaching makeup since I first started watching years ago, you’re the best and this is the first video of yours I’ve watched. You’re captivating
Amazing! Is your beauty blender to apply liquid blush wet or dry? Pls advise
Could u name the very first Dior blush u talked about (for light skin/cool skin tone).
Thanks so much! I’m catching up on your videos and having a good time. I love to come and learn on your channel and will use your tips for sure!
Great advice that helps out so much. Thank you for being so detailed.
Yeah. So i apply too much blush. I was a teen during the 80’s, that must be why haha 😂
Me, too. I still kinda like the look, though. Not now...but looking back.
Me too😃
Im an 80s girl too. I like a lotta blush
Me toooo 🙄
@@tinacahoon9819 haha, im so with you xDD
Did you use the sponge wet? Great video!
Same question
Thank you so much for doing this video. I’ve been smiling until my cheeks hurt while applying my blush. I had no idea what a difference it makes NOT doing this!! Thank you x100🤗
Hi. I tried the cream blush with a damp sponge. What a difference! I also brushed on some powder plush over it, and it looks very nice. Thanks for the tip.
I'm so glad I'm this early😂😍😍
Ali Andrea, I love to apply blush and highlighters but I’ve hyperpigmentation right under and corner of my eyes close to my cheekbones where blush and highlighter goes and in warm seasons hyperpigmentation gets a bit darker and more noticeable and applying blush and highlighter highlights all those imperfections. What would u recommend in this case? Thanks!
I also have the same question
You should look for a color corrector👍
@@elizahalbrook7088 I forgot to mention I've dry skin and layers of makes doesn't look good on me which is why I try to use minimal foundation, if I use color corrector+foundation+setting powder or seeing spray and then blush or highlighter that's too much and I'll look cakey! I guess I should just embrace my hyperpigmentation :D
@@nilasaid2631 well since you've got dry skin it's probably better to go for a foundation with more of a dewy finish, the same way that people with oily skin are better suited for a matte finish foundation. Using a lower coverage foundation will help too, something that's more buildable and gives you more room in how much you can apply for a natural look. The other option is to find a skincare product that can combat the hyperpigmentation. That may take experimentation so i suggest you research the kinds of ingredients your skin may require. The other thing I'll mention is that your skincare before you apply makeup is very important to how the makeup turns out, especially if you have dry skin already. Makeup absorbs well into and lasts longer and better onto skin at the right moisture level. In your skincare, make sure to find moisturizing products so that your makeup will hold better. You may not even need as much of your setting products after your skin has adjusted
Thank you ! You suggestion that it’s ok to go higher on check is epic . (I have a round “mature” face . It’s what I need . I really appreciate the texture advice and discussion on skin color and tone. I just bought the Hourglass blush stick and am in love with the no sheen look. Who knew it’s what works for me ???
Thank you so much for this video! I am not very experienced or skilled at choosing or applying make-up, so I am finding any advice you share to be extremely helpful.
