Sharing your everyday makeup look with us is such a good idea as it's so relatable, useful and validating for me. There are two specific things that struck me about this post. We all know that just as in fashion there are makeup trends that come and go, and while we can have fun with them there are those tried and true staples that are simply reliable and timeless. Although I am older than you, I have been using a lipliner to also fill in the lips as a daily look since my late teens, as well as using my blusher to subtly add colour to my eyes and brow bones for a harmonising and polished look. Watching you do the same for your simple, everyday look made me feel confidant that I had been doing something right all these years. We all crave something a little different and exciting once in a while, but knowing that you have a reliable go-to-look can be an instant no-brainer confidence booster. The second thing is that with all the makeup choices filling our drawers and store shelves, it is a relief, for me at least, to have a pared down makeup bag with those tried and true essentials to carry around and travel with. While I love to experiment and try new products and colours, I can sometimes forget about what just always works and those are the items that tend to be pushed back in the drawer or forgotten for a while. I find that when I travel, especially if there is going to be an event, I want to bring choices with me so my toiletries and makeup bags tend to take up the most room and weight. As I'm getting ready now for such a trip, you have inspired me to be more thoughtful of what I am bringing, and with just an added item or two for some extra sparkle for those evening events, I will travelling with a much lighter load while still feeling confidant about looking my best. By the way, Andreea, you not only educate and inspire when it comes to makeup and in helping one to look one's best, but you have a wonderful gift of communication that appeals to many ages and generations, that makes you so relatable. Having met you in person and having had the pleasure of you doing my makeup, I can attest that the person you present on this platform is also who you are in real life. So thank you for sharing your passion.

Such a beautiful natural look with a pop of glamour! I can’t wait to try the lip oil. It sounds exactly what I’ve been looking for when my lips are feeling parched. Also, applying the bronzer & blush over the eyes is so striking without being over dramatic. This makeup look today is really what I would & try to do everyday. The powder prisme libre is my favorite that you introduced me too. It last a long time & is perfect for under the eye. I truly don’t purchase a lot of Tom Ford although I love his products but because of the price point it’s difficult to use them all. But I will definitely look at Moonlight. Looks so beautiful and it seems like it would last a while. Thank you Andreea again!! I love your videos & honesty on all the products. I do use biscuit bronzer by Westman Alelier .So easy to blend & a perfect shade for my lighter skin. I know these products are not inexpensive but when you find the right products in the long run it saves me money.

Every time I try to do less makeup and be quick, I am always taking extra time to cover up my pesky brown age spots that just won’t go away. They aren’t that dark but I always notice them. Your skin looks flawless though!

Hey Andrea. With your highlighter stick there is a solution. It looks like a similar manufacturing method to the glossy lip balm sticks where they are manufactured by pouring the product into the bottom of the component as opposed to pouring into a mould and then inserted into the component.
If you remove the label at the base of the component you will be able to insert something slim to push the inner product up so you can decant it into a small clear pot. It will save your pretty nails getting covered every time you need to use it and also prevent product wastage 😊
So very pretty! I will have to try the underpainting technique. I've never seen anyone do it so well.

Hi Andreea! If you’re looking for a mascara that doesn’t stain and is easy to take off, try Sensai - it’s amazing! I can wear it all day and just use room temperature water to take it off :) If you know it already, excuse my presumption 😘

I’ve been using blush on my eyelids since the 80s - I’m 62
the 80s will forever be the best in everything. I was a little girl at the time, but my Mom was in her prime, and I had the opportunity to learn from her, and till this day, what was working then is stil working. I discovered this technique by accident, a few years ago, thought I was cheating, but you and Andreea just made it very ok. Like, I am not really putting anything on my eyes, other than blush and maybe bronzer.
