Off road Ligurian border ridge road - adventure off road

Presentation of my adventure off road between france and italy . A magnificent landscape on the handlebars of my BMW gs adventure. The Ligurian Border Ridge Road, a former military road, runs along the border between France and Italy. Its length, which can be travelled on loose ground, is 63 kilometres - from Colla Melosa to the junction at Colle di Tenda. A large part of the road is located at altitudes above 2000 metres. The core section of the road, which is approximately 30 kilometres long, is subject to tolls for motorised vehicles. The section is also closed to motorised traffic on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
