The Rotel S14 Integrated Network Streamer is an all-in-one solution providing the ultimate in convenience to the near limitless catalog of music delivering 150 Watts of Class AB power. Album artwork on the front display, included remote, simple operation and intuitive setup ensures the S14 becomes the heart of your music system.
When Rotel decided they wanted to build a unit that would deliver all the performance of their integrated amplifiers with the added benefit of streaming music they took it seriously. They wanted the technology to mature into a very reliable source of music before they implemented it into their designs. This would ensure that the streaming section of their new device would be just as reliable and sonically pleasing as the rest of Rotel’s lineup. Audio Advice has been a Rotel dealer for over 30 years due to them making products of good sound quality, reliability, and overall value.

Love all of the new streamers being released!
Thanks for watching!
Very slick one-box solution. I've been waiting for Rotel to get into the game. I'd love to seem them make a Streaming Preamp so you could use one of their beefy outboard power amps to drive the system.
Great idea!
Thank you for the review. How do you compare this device with Cambridge Audio EVO 150?
Contact our team of experts at audioadvice.com and they can give you more details about comparisons. Thanks!
I looked at this unit and went with the Marantz Model 40n instead due to better build quality and Marantz support.
That is also a great unit. Thanks for sharing!
How to you like the 40n Im thinking about getting one but I hate I can play 24bit on it
@@dcrgamer9668 You can play 24bit on it via the USB, not sure if you are referring to TIDAL MQA?. Build quality is top notch, class A/B does not get hot. I have it set up with a pair of Revel Performa M106s and an SVS PB 3000 sub. It does also have an excellent built in phono preamp as I am using the Pro-Ject Carbon Debut Evo purchased from Audio Advice.
Thanks rob cos I'm a qobuz user if I get a 40n I will switch to tidal hopefully qobuz comes to heos one day
How does it compare with the Bluesound Powernode n330. Also 80 watts per channel at 8ohms
Both are a good value. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss which is best for your needs
Ooo that price tag though. If I'm spending $2500 I'm probably gonna get the HiFi Rose 250A. Don't need an integrated amp, as I'm sure most people at this price point won't.
That is definitely another good choice although some people still like the all in one solution. Thanks for sharing!
If your just playing MP3 or you tube , from a device , does it allow that to be played
Yes, you'll need to still connect to the device though.
At $999 on 5/10/2024 it's a steal on this price.
Thanks for sharing, we agree
Forgive me for my dumb question but I don't understand why someone would want a streamer with a built in amp. Seems to me most ppl that buy these will already have a high end audio system and really won't ever use the amp on this.
It is not a dumb question at all. Many people going from an inexpensive system to their first decent HiFi rig go this route. It is actually a very popular category for that type of music lover. Agree, if you already have a good 2 channel system, you just need a streamer/DAC. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice Does the S14 offer a fixed-volume line level output? I'd like to pair this with my RC-1580 and RB-1582 MkII. No need for the amplifier.
@@neurocache Sorry, it does not
@@AudioAdvice Boooo. Lost opportunity.
Why would you not wait and review the included Rotel apps? Are they still not available? Makes this half a review.
The Rotel app is still under maintenance but we were reassured it will be great when it releases. Since this product is still pretty new, we wanted to get the review out to help people decide if this was the right product for them or not. Hopefully, once the app is done, we can update the description with our thoughts. We do appreciate your feedback and will take it into account for next time!
What’s the S14 TCP IP port ??
Chat or call our experts at audioadvice.com and they can look into it for you! Thanks!
Wish it had HDMI arc like the Model 40 from Marantz
That would have been a nice touch!
Wish Marantz had USB DAC like Rotel has. How am I going to connect Marantz to my PC?
Disappointed you did not show the rear and it’s connections.
