The Stone of Ephemeral Eyes is a very important consumable that allows us to manipulate the World Tendency of each Area of the game. The game has a limited number of drops for this item in each game cycle. Fortunately, there is a simple and efficient farming spot to get as many as we need.

@@psychodisco17 Struggling is normal, specially if its your first Souls game. Take your time, understand the mechanics and try different things. When you are comfortable, start a fresh character and apply everything your learned. You will win.

I just farm the babies. Got 17 stones in like 5 minutes. It depends of your luck stats but I have a luck build for the blueblood sword

Kinda hard to get the world tendency to black when I need the ephemeral eyes to do just that
There are plenty of Eyes throughout the game. You also go into human form after every boss kill. These are two resources that can get your Archstone 5 to Pure Black before applying the farm method. Thank you for your comment.
@@FrownyGaming when I posted that I had already used all lootable eyes unbeaten all bosses except the final boss. Ended up having to go to ng+ to do it

This big guy is afraid of water, luring him to the water edge and attack from the water, his ai will freeze. But be sure to kill the small ones first, they will jump into the water and attack you

This is certainly odd. I am not sure why this is happening to you. The conditions for the BP to spawn are clear. Are you positive that you are in Pure Black? Let me know if you were able to resolve it. Thank you for your comment.

This is unfortunate, the farm method is pretty much locked to Pure Black Tendency. It's not the most generalized farm, but it is efficient. Thank you for your comment.

I only have 4 stones left and world 5 is pure white, so not enough to make it pure black to the farm the items that can make me turn the world pure black.. smh
If you have World 5 in Pure White, let's assume that you got it at a perfect 100% World Tendency.
The first thing you need to do is kill Selen Vinland in 5-2. Her human form. This will get you a -90% Tendency penalty, putting you at 10% (Neutral Tendency). After that, suicide in Human Form for a -30% per suicide. If you do it four times, it is a -120% Tendency which should get you from 10% (Neutral) to -100% (Pure Black).
If you do not have enough Stones for the suicides, you can also beat a boss from a different would in Soul Form. Beating the boss will turn you into Human Form. Then you travel to 5-1 and suicide while in Human Form. Hopefully you have some bosses left to beat.
That said, killing Selen will also affect your Character Tendency towards black. Be sure to take that into consideration if you decided to go forward with this plan.

I am starting to kind of hate this damn game. Like the graphics. cant kill flame lurker like I use to in the origional demon souls. Cant farm for these eye stones in shrine of the storms after killing saint urbane. I hated being invaided while playing offline. I hate pvp. Be nice if I can delete my save character completely like the original. i think after I beat this damn game one time. I am going to delete the damn game off my ps5 and stop playing it.

Step 1 : have a friend
Step 2 :use ps plus to back up save and dupilcate items by dropping them and reloading.

Yes. The stone has a 100% drop chance from this Black Phantom enemy. Using this strategy, the drop is guaranteed.

15 fps video in 2021, my eyes are bleeding
The video is running at 24 FPS to be exact. This is one of my earlier guide attempts. After re-watching it, I managed to see how much I have improved with time and practice. By now, I have become better and identifying and addressing matters like these.

So you need pure black world tendency to farm the stones and you need the stones to get pure black world tendency

This is not exactly true.
The Stones of Ephemeral Eyes definitely lets us get to Pure Black Tendency much faster, but there is no need to farm them to do so. The game provides plenty of Stones in order to get multiple Archstones to Pure Black easily.
This farming method is for those players that will need more Stones in order to manipulate Tendency multiple times - for example, when trying to get the Penetrator Armor Set.

Don't kill maiden astrea and do the bow glitch to not get attacked to make this a million times easier
This is true. That said, this farm method requires two conditions: (1) Astraea is alive; (2) Player knows and can execute the bow glitch. Furthermore, the drop chance of Ephemeral Eyes from Plague Babies is inconsistent. The method that I show here has only one condition: Pure Black World Tendency; and it is accessible to all players at all times. Thank you for your comment.
@FrownyGaming doesnt sound like you understand the glitch. I wasn't saying to kill the babies. Your method is great but... literally anyone can do the bow method where you walk backwards, not into the boss fight but backwards. If you play demons souls you are skilled enough to do a third graders glitch.
And if you do have pure black world tendency then you can do this at the last boss and kill the black phantoms and get the colorless demons souls in every world. Never kill the last boss in a world so you can easily farm everything by turning of the enemy AI
Thought there was a better way than farming babies but nope.
Fetus farm definitely has its benefits. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the drop rate of Stones from plague babies around 5%?
Granted, there is a larger roll pool with babies and we have tools to increase drop rate, but I am a fan of a guaranteed drop regardless of circumstances.

@@FrownyGaming so recently bought the remake and now it’s been my 4th day playing it . Mechanics are addicting and amazing but I’m just tired of running around the same area killing the same enemies just cause of a gate not opening because of me not having pure white world tendencies. This is super ridiculous
@@qxpn9220 I understand. Well, listen, you do not have to worry about World Tendency so much during your first playthrough. It will affect you, but it does not keep you from beating the game. The gate that requires Pure White World Tendency is a side path, not required to beat the level. No World Tendency event is required to finish the game.
I would recommend to not focus so much on it and finish the boss of the area. Afterwards explore the rest of the levels. Little by little you will get the hang of the game's feeling.

@@FrownyGaming I beat the first boss in the game phalanx then killed the red dragon. Summoned someone to come join my world then he ended up killing the tower knight so that may be my issue. After killing the red dragon I was pure white but I guess it went back down. Now I’m just stuck going in circles killing the same enemies because of the gate not opening. I can’t even find any other passage way after running around every 2-4 hours :/
