Great review. I have a couple of these in storage, I should give one a try. Test out the Hatchet next. It's a great first driver, and it's amazing in the woods.

Very accurate review based on my own experience with the disc. I can only throw about 320' max, but this 14 speed driver is easily my longest flying disc. The glide is as advertised, which I think we all know is not always the case.

I have Westside Destiny in tournament plastic which is 171g, mine is really understable and I usually throw it on a hyzerflip where I want the disc to turnover. I also want minimum a slight tailwind when I'm throwing this disc so I'm secured to get full flight out if. This is the disc that I can throw furthest in a tailwind, but I don't use it that often as it is hard to be precise with it, I need a big open area in order to throw this disc. If I throw this with a slight hyzer or a flat release it will everytime become a cutroller and if i put slight anhyzer on it will roll very far. What I think this disc is best for is actually a roller, it's really easy to give it a slight anhyzer and lay it down on a perfect angle everytime.
I rarely use this disc, but I keep it in my bag for rollers or hyzerflips that turns into turnovers where I can't reach my target with a forehand.
I usually throw Wraiths and Destroyers and this disc will outdrive these discs, but it's hard to be precise and therefore you need to be in a open field in order to throw it and you need slight tailwind as minimum. I would say Destiny will beat my other distance drivers with around 40-50 feet as long as the circumstances for using it is correct. I rarely use it however.
For people maxing around 300-350 feet, this will be a perfect disc for distance. For people with 400-450 feet this will be a great roller disc and great hyzerflip disc in tailwind.

Looks like I've got a lot of Westside Discs to buy! It's fast becoming my favorite brand for sure, alongside Latitude 64 (I know it's technically the same nowadays) and Kastaplast. It doesn't hurt that the discs are all made in Sweden (being a swede myself), but mostly I like the branding and theme of the Westside Discs more than Latitude 64.
Being a fairly new to disc golf I currently am a lot more confident with my forehand than my backhand, and therefore the Harp and Destiny seem like two good choices to have in my bag. I'm also going to get a Warship since I really love the Compass, and the Warship seems to be a longer distance version of that disc.

I love my destiny. I dont yet have the arm strength to get it to glide right yet. But ive been working on it. I love to get nice rollers out of it right now though. Gotten me some good birdies with rolling it, I throw sidearm mostly though, its what feels most comfortable for me.

Good review, I would suggest the Sampo, or perhaps a comparison between it and the discs with somewhat similar numbers from WSD. Meaning the Stag, Boatman and Northman. At least I have trouble figuring out the differences, and I don’t want to buy all just to try out. Other comparison could be between the Longbowman and the Fortress. Cheers, and looking forward to your next video!

I've finally found my favorite distance driver. Broke my personal distance record on my first shot with this disc. First duplicate DD in my bag for sure.

I'm a big fan of Westside. Always wanted to try this disc for giant-long anhyzers.

I have it in TP. I'd say it's a love/hate relationship for me. Absolutely bombs if thrown just right, but too unpredictable. I'm sticking with my 3 flat, weirdly stable VIP Kings for now.

Wow, the destiny is more reliable than the King for me, but if you have overstable ones they surely rock!

I've been throwing the Destiny since it came out and love it. As mentioned, it's a fantastic finesse disc, especially up at higher elevation, like I'm at in Utah (4,500'). I can get big distance and throw wild lines with this disc. I always keep two in the bag. Finding a nice pop-top 176g Destiny will net you some decent stability and huge distance. Question...when can we get one of those shirts?!

What's the point of a "14 speed" driver that turn and burns when you throw it hard? Great review btw

Probably 170+ ,but if you are not strong enought maybe choose something lighter

I've been throwing this for about a year now. After being beat it pretty well I find it SUPER under-stable. Just like Danny said, hyzer-flips and rollers. Brand new, it's my big distance forehand disc.

Westside is the Am's best friend! So many discs for mediocre arms....(but not the warhorse)
