As a player who maxes out at about 400 feet, the Bear is straight flyer with a good fade. Very true to the numbers. Like a fairway Grand Trust. So not as stable as something like a fresh Teebird but definitely not flipping over for me at all unless I throw my god awful sidearm :D
Also there needs to be a special edition Jääkarhu version of these in the future.
This was an amazing review! It felt unbiased, which I really appreciated 👍
Love Scrapyard! Top 5 course in Charlotte!
I throw my fairways backhand around 340’ on average. Personally I find the Bear to be more stable than the way you’re describing it. I really have to pop it flat to get turn out of it. Thanks for the video. I too am loving the Bear.
I absolutely love the stag have in a bunch of plastics. The bear is literally a more stable stag and I have been loving it. With some stags and a couple bears I literally feel like my bag is complete bow
I hope you do a review of the new Gold Ice River coming out next week.
Yes! I've been waiting for this! Love the bear.
I really need one of those shirts!
One of my buddies got the proto/first run bear that came out in the Westside box. I really enjoyed throwing it
yea it felt really good!
Love westside and all trilogy for real!
Notice any differences between the stock and promo? Sad I didn't get to meet up with you at the beginning of the month. I was in Charlotte for the ESPN Ocho playing wiffleball
My bear was like a Firebird but a little less stable. I sold it because it was way more stable than I thought.
looks sweet!!
Hope you are having fun on the beach
I would love to see this compared to the Ice Striker
Slower with more fade
What’s the white putter, is it a different mold from your keystones?
glow maiden from the Westside queen box
I don't throw any Westside, but that sounds like exactly what I have been looking for in a flight. Kind of wish it were a 9 speed, but that's it.
well i mean, you also have bear in your name, so could be the perfect disc for you!
@@MHDiscgolf Yeah it's almost a necessity at this point
@@bearislandjosh5279 bruh imagin being a bear
Westside makes amazing discs. You gotta try a couple molds bruv!
You want a Thunderbird
awsome , how do you compare it to an Explorer ?
Exactly my thought…
Explorers have always felt a little more stable to me than their numbers suggest. Idk what it is but I don’t bag an explorer because I don’t like them as much. I’ve tried going back to them since I’ve seen a lot of people throw them.
@@MHDiscgolf ok thanks for the reply !
Does a bear sh*t in the woods?!? 😀 I picked up a couple of ice clear Bear's - sweet!
What happened to the old intro music??
@8.06 Bearely, heh.
My proto Bear was was more understable than .5
interesting, my proto is pretty damn stable, only flips in headwind with 420ft arm
Mine is a prototype, it's a -3/2
Man you’ve had those bears for a little while now, noticed the left first available tree on 3 was still standing in the vid.
Bear make the bag after a couple weeks with it?
SOUND is VERY LOW
If it’s a neutral disc shouldn’t the flight numbers reflect that? Seems like trilogy discs had all the flight numbers on paper above a bunch of discs on a conference table, and someone walked in and turned the fan on the papers go everywhere and trilogy was like screw it. Just throw some numbers on there.
Lol a lot of westside disc numbers do seem a little “off” I believe it’s because of the altitude or something like that where the discs are made and tested. Flight numbers are cool, I actually really love asking people about the numbers on discs. But for the most part you just gotta throw a disc and see how it flies
@@MHDiscgolf “what are the flight numbers?” Is usually my first question when someone gets ahold of a disc I haven’t heard of. I love talking disc golf. I’ve just always wondered why trilogy (mostly westside) has the most variance from true flight to flight numbers. Altitude makes since.
But why is the bear $25?
Why is any disc 25? Really bonkers. Not good for the sport when new disc over over $20.
All new disc and a person is walking around with $200-300 in their bag at any time. Ridiculous.
The stag is -1 2 you throw it all the time since you know that come on
