    This is my Dr. I had prostate cancer stage 4 . I received an implant from him and I’m back to action. Yes I lost size but my partner understand and we make it work. Fact is I’m alive and I’m happy that this guy helped me. He’s a great Dr and I’m here to tell you not to be afraid this guy will help you as he did me! Good luck and God bless you in the darkest time of a guys life.

    Cycling really works. I had my surgery more than two and a half months ago. I followed instructions and cycle daily. The pain is now gone, and my length and girth are definitely bigger than ever .... and continuing... i also noticed recently that less time spent cycling is necessary: After the first series of pumps, there is not much flexibility to cycle, nor more that can be pumped.

    I believe Dr. Paul is a very talented surgeon. I have read many scholarly papers and his videos are always on point. I had quite a devastating implant infection from hematoma formation, a 1.3 percent chance. From the research I have conducted, another surgery is extremely difficult due to fibrosis. There are techniques like grafting and excavation depending on severity. Dr. Paul is someone I trust before completely abandoning sex. I have a rare condition and have never, even from birth, had an erection. A little partial. Implants change lives and it gave me confidence even though I never could use it. I want that back! Very happy to see Dr. Paul to determine how to proceed. Keep up the good work!

    Hi Dr. I just had a penile implant surgery about 4 weeks ago..my surgeon has insisted that I wait 6 weeks to have intercourse or masturbate. I was wondering where this number comes from and what are the risks of doing it sooner? I have been cycling the pump as advised and actually have played with it myself. Not actual intercourse, and now I'm wondering what I may have messed up by doing this. I don't feel more pain or anything like that

    Is it still possible to have the Urofill procedure after IPP surgery (performed 5 months ago)? The cycling and post exercises you have suggestions have been useful, but would still like to get back to my original girth.

      In general yes, but with some considerations. We'll have an episode on the topic coming up soon. In the meantime, please contact us at info@urofill.com or at (833) 876 3455 for more information.

    Is there always room for two cylinders or do some patients only get one?

    • @DrPaulPerito
      @DrPaulPerito  Před rokem

      It's very infrequent, and typically only needed when revising a botched implant by a less skilled surgeon.

    I completed shock wave therapy at my urologist office and had a conversation with the PA and he was telling me there are penile implants that are controlled with a phone app coming out on the horizon. What can you tell me about this. If it's so I think I'd wait.

    • @DrPaulPerito
      @DrPaulPerito  Před 2 lety +2

      This is a long way out with no guarantees of longevity or cost. It would be prohibitively expensive.

    • @Ease54
      @Ease54 Před rokem +3

      Personally, I prefer being totally self contained. Having to depend on your phone would be almost as bad as relying on trimix injections.

    When I pump up my implant (Coloplast), it never stays 100% pumped up. Within a minute or so I have to give it several more pumps to make it 100%. What is the reason for that, and will it correct itself over time? My surgery was just under 3 months ago.

    • @DrPaulPerito
      @DrPaulPerito  Před 4 měsíci

      Yes, it can be corrected with daily cycling and "the exercise" (see: MTP 57) Make sure you're getting to the limits of your implant. Sometimes during sex, more room is created and your implant wants to grow with you circumferentially due to the material of the cylinders. Put more pumps into your implant and continue having sex. Incidental pressing of the deflate mechanism can also cause the implant to lose power.

    This takes me into question I submitted earlier. Does the malleable implants (I assume) daily cycling wear on its rigidity? I wish you could see my lightbulb going on as I now understand the reason for being able to point the penis down ; LOL!!!
