The Christopher Reeve face blew my mind when I first watched the movie. It is incredible that it wasn't intentional!!

I thought it was, “ok” it wasn’t really bad, but it wasn’t perfect. But I still found it pretty enjoyable in most parts of the movie

BvS Ultimate Edition for direct sequel
Definitely too harshly judged at the time, I'm glad people are now starting to appreciate it, it's a pretty good movie honestly, it's not perfect but it had some deeper themes and metaphors in it that people didn't give it credit for.
I would say it's an ok movie
I got made fun of for liking this movie back in 2013 specially form actual Superman fans ....nowadays all I get from them is an apology 🤦♂️

This movie was way before its time... there is so much detail that is underappreciated. I'm not even sure that many people get that the Kryptonians existence is attributed to eons of advance experimental biochemistry, material sciences and space exploration. Its what makes them what they are. And Zack Snyder did a fantastic job illustrating this in every Kryptonian scene down to the very purpose of the different ships. It just makes so much sense.
This is the most underrated superhero movie

Andrew Garfield and Henry Cavill have a knack for cracking stuff 😂
I loved this movie since it shows how destructive he can be
The only problem is how they felt with the aftermath
This was the first movie I saw at a midnight premiere with a bunch of friends. I was su hyped! I really enjoyed it afterwards. But I was shocked to heat the backlash about the destruction scenes, like The Avengers didnt also have that the year prior.

Sincere question, why is it that people who like Snyder movies say that those who don’t, are Marvel fanboys? Could it not just be that people just genuinely don’t enjoy this movies? And really the only differences between this movies and Marvel’s is that this ones have a little more substance and a little more unique style, they are still silly comic book movies.

@@romondoto2630 first, I personally like the more humourous style of marvel, and 2, marvel knows when to keep it real and serious, plus they have writing which I personally think feels more natural

This movie was a perfect adaptation for Superman and I don't think anybody can do this characters origin story better. That's why the Snyderverse needs to be restored(Keep Keaton also).

The only thing that bugs me with this movie and it's not only this movie many movies do the same thing and that is that it takes the hero days, months, sometimes years to control their powers but the villian is able to control them in only hours or even instantly.
To be fair, it makes sense in this case, Zod IS a trained general. Superman had to learn everything from scratch.
Zod even said “I was bred to be a warrior, Kal. Trained my entire life to master my senses.”

That days without accident sign might be my favorite joke in any superhero movie. I noticed it during my last viewing of the film and Everytime I think of it it puts a smile on my face.
I love it too, really cheers me up. That along with the joke:

6:47 sure a highway overpass isn’t safe to use to hide from a tornado, but I imagine it’s better than standing in the middle of nowhere, at least it’s putting something between you and the storm
I'm going to say this and I welcome any agreements or disagreements.
I feel that the Justice League movie should have took a similar route that Marvel did with The Avengers. Meaning the individual members should had their own solo movie leading up to forming The Justice League! I would love to see a solo Batman, Cyborg and Flash movie to build the Justice League!!
I feel that most people wanted them to do that but I guess they rushed it to compete with Marvel, now the DCEU is up in the air.

I just watched cacw and when ross is first introducing the accords and the map showing all the incidents there you can see that there were incidents in Egypt east Asia but it was quite fast but I still saw it

Actually if your stuck on the road when a tornado hits your best bet is either to find a ditch/storm drain to lay in. Underground is best if possible, or........ an overpass to hide under. Only cause those options mentioned could be strong enough to with stand the tornado itself along with providing shelter from debris and rain.

This is, by far, my favourite Comic Book Movie adaptation of all time. (slightly above Nolan´s TDK)
Something I've always appreciated about Zach Snyder's DCEU (among other things) is that with his Superman (the best live action Superman) is that he really puts the Human into Superman's superhuman.
I watched this last week on the same day that I watched transformers: dark of the moon and I noticed that aliens realllllly like to bring their home world to earth..
One I thought their native sun was red, its looks yellowish or orange, great Superman movie

The "doomsday" in bvs was just one of many as on krypton and like in bvs they could be created ..so the moon would have been shattered during a battle with a different doomsday as well.

DCEU could have been amazing, but 3 things ruined it imo: BvS, Batfleck, and Justice League. The universe and characters just wasn't developed enough for a crossover to make sense

They definitely rushed it out the gates. Should have followed what Marvel did and have origin movies for their characters before crossing into Justice League. Those movies would be filling the MCU drought we have after Endgame.

Sad Superman I’m not saying make 20 odd movies, just enough so we actually like and care about the characters, rather than throwing characters together, 1 of which we “don’t like”, 3 of which we don’t know and don’t care about into a film 🤷🏻♂️ it’s why the Avengers worked so well
Suicide Squad was worse than all of those, but yeah those things were bad too
I think this movie is so underrated. Easily my favourite DC movie outside of the Nolan trilogy.
