Before I accepted Christ into my life, I went from being a Pagan to an overly critical atheist who hung on to the words of Hitchens, Dawkins, Gervais, Harris etc. I viewed God in the same manner as many atheists who had never read the bible (it's all stories, God murders, why doesn't he just show us he's real....). The one thing that sticks out from that period of my life is how empty existence felt, how it destroyed my empathy and sympathy, how I didn't care about right or wrong because ultimately I believed that when we were dead there was nothing to answer for.
A few years ago I hit rock bottom. I had been married to a narcissist who broke me before casting me aside for someone else. During that time of hardship there was a voice in my heart that kept repeating: This will pass, it will be okay, never forget that. I repeated it daily. Things got better. Despite knowing it was the Lord, I started rejecting him again for appox a year. It dawned on me that I had abused his love. Despite my attitude toward him here he was by my side. I smile as I write that. I was in the shower and asked for forgiveness and for him to remove my guilt. I swear that I cried as though I'd never done it before; and the love that was inside me and around me was incredible. No words can truly explain it. I read my bible all the time now and I will never turn from the Lord Jesus Christ ever again. Bless you all 🙏

You are not weak. You do not resist sin with all your might. Till you cry all night and bleed in the spirit. Resist sin at all costs. You CAN resist. Resist and if temptation hits you every five minutes, resist again. You have not put all your might into resisting temptation.. Do it! When you do, God will help you and you will have no excuse. God makes a way of escaping sin. Turn away from it with everything in you. You will see it can be done. Do not give in no matter what. Once you have done this, it becomes easier to NEVER give in to temptation.

My father converted to Islam a few years ago and I could never understand why, I mean he was the person which introduced me to the Church when I was a baby., I got baptised , did my first confession, first communion and finally my confirmation in the Catholic church, I was an Alter Server during my teen years.. For some reason I could never convert to Islam, I always stayed true to my religion even though I had so many questions. As the years passed, my Lord Jesus helped me to become stronger in my Faith. Today im 33yrs old, I stopped drinking alcohol, stopped smoking weed, I ignore the evil of Hollywood. I am happy because I live my life with Lord Jesus with me. 10yrs ago if you asked me if I would ever stop drinking or smoking, the answer would have been Hell No!!..... Trust in the Lord Jesus and ask him for help, things will become better if you in a difficult place. God Bless 🙏
