im reading about the album for a post im writing and there is a deep connection between it and the opera he did 'liverpool oratorio', and its very cool that this is actually a kind of an opera but in another manner.

Off the ground, very good album bar a few weaker moments its largely strong. The title track, hope of deliverance, i owe it all to you, golden earth girl, winedark open sea. There's always good songs with every McCartney album.

*Golden Earth Girl* is such a beautiful song. It really should be considered among his finest for melody, it's just exquisite.
