    I'm going to a high school on a college campus and in the school the students major music. I'm an upcoming freshman, I'm not the best at remember most stuff. My 8th grade teacher taught me this but like I said I can't really remember much. This summer I stressed because I got 4/12 on a music test I took before summer started. I needed to learn a few things before school starts, your videos have helped me. Even if I'm a singer and I can't really remember much, I hope that I can remember your CZcams channel and give you credit for helping me when I graduate in the future. Thank you and please wish me luck for my freshman year!!😊💕💝

    My school have tried to taught students like me how to read music for almost 5 years. Still I didn't know how to read and my exams has lower scores. So I thought I'm musically dumb. But this taught me for just 3 minutes and I realized I'm good at it! Schools spoil children into noober individuals. Thank youuuuu! This saved me a lot!

Can these videos be watched in other languages other than English? The place where I live, we use the DO, RE, MI rather than the A B C, etc. system. Please let me know. Thank you very much. I love your videos.

      Hi Margaret, sadly, the audio for our videos is only available in English. But each video does have a transcript that goes along with it that you might be able to put into Google Translate. Below the video on the right hand side, you'll see three dots. If you click there, you should have the option to "Open Transcript" and it'll open a box to the right with the text of the audio. Hope that helps!

    Hi so would you hold a dotted quarter note all the way through one and two and or would you let go right before getting to two being it's one and a 1/2

    • @soundfly
      @soundfly  Před 6 lety

      Good question. There are two ways to do this. If you're just counting 1 2 3 4, then you hold the dotted quarter note for 1 and 2 and clap between 2 and 3. The other way is to count 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + which has a little more precision, and then clap on the second "+" (the "+" is usually said as "and"). Does that help?

    • @soundfly

      a dotted quarter note lasts for one and a half beats, so if you count "one & two &", you'd clap on the "one" and on the second "&"
