  • This tutorial might seem more challenging than most on our channel, but it’s quite achievable for advanced video makers.
    The principle envisages one object in your footage revealing the second clip with the help of masking. When used correctly it produces a very natural looking transition.

    Very good example of using mask... VSDC should introduce 'Feather' property to mask for the better enhancement.

      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před 2 lety +2

      Hello, if you want to add a "feather" to the mask you need to add a blur effect to the rectangle/ellipse

      @@VSDCFreeVideoEditor Yes, thank you. just want to add that for ellipse/rectangles it's fine but for free shapes I believe it little difficult. Feathering would be on step solution for smooth gradient mask for any kind of shape.

    The video is awesome. I tried to follow step by step and it worked well. But when I tried to expose the file as mp4, the video didn't show the same picture as inverted mask function did. It just showed an eclipse on the video screen. Is it normal?

      Hi! Are you using the free or the Pro version? If you're using the free version, that'd explain the issue because the Inverted Mask is a Pro feature

    Inverted mask is for Pro whereas Channel name suggests Free Editor... WHY?

    • @VSDCFreeVideoEditor
      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před 3 lety

      Hi Sunil Luthra, VSDC is primarily a free video editor, and most tutorial on this channel cover effects that can be replicated for free as well. However, there's an upgrade called VSDC Pro, and it includes advanced features typically used by those who edit video profesionally. Whenever we publish a tutorial that involved Pro features, we mention it in the title or the description.
