I think this is one of those films I need to watch again to appreciate. I saw it when it came out I was young and wanted wesley snpies to be nino and Rome is nothing like nino and I can see the differences and why they were different. I think Michael Wright as Ray Nathan is the best Character in the movie. Its a tragic tale like most gangster movies, even a reluctant gangster like Rome doesn't get away clean. The score is amazing, it gave the movie an old time feel even though it took place in present day.

Wtf is this list? For one, u didn't watch all those movies. Training day isn't a gangster movie. This movie isn't better than godfather, reservoir dogs, the departed, boys in the hood, menace 2 society, American gangster and most of these other movies. But still a good movie...
