hmm as an indonesian, it needs more butter, like artery clogging amount. Like if you eat this 3 slices in a row you'll get a heart attack. Like if you milked an entire cow, turn the milk into butter and used that whole butter for 1 martabak. That amount lol. The box that it came in is soaked wet not from steam but from butter :)

It's actually margarine, not butter. Margarine contains much less fat amount than butter so in a way, it's way more healthier than butter. But I agree, normally seller will put a lot n lots of margarine. Fat contain-wise, the amount of fat in the butter they use might be just about the same with the fat contain in the normal teranng bulan (martabak manis) sold in Indonesia. Lol..

Hi Inga. I am big fan of you videos! I'm sure you get tons of suggestions for foods to make so here's another one. My dads side of the family is very Swedish so our Christmases consist of a lot of Swedish foods. One of my favorites things is ostkaka which translates to cheesecake. It is kind of hard to make but it tastes amazing. I do have a family recipe that has been tweeked a little bit since the original recipe uses raw milk. I know that you are working form home, so this is a suggestion for once you get back into the Tasty kitchen.
It's also called 'Terang Bulan'. It'll be 'Moonshine' (Yes. Like alcoholic drinks) in english lol🤣 That's why we all have to put the original name in menu just so people wouldn't be misunderstood🤣

in Malaysia, we call Martabak Manis as Apam Balik! Except that our OG version has different filling with peanuts, creamy corn, and sugar. I was searching for a martabak manis recipe video for so long
In Malaysia, this is called "Apam Balik". They top it off with some butter, chopped peanuts, sweet corn also a little bit of sugar. Then they fold it as how you did. The only difference is that the fillings of the "Apam Balik" are filled when it is still on the stove and you put on the filling after taking it off the stove.
