I love this look! I was watching a video a few years ago (I can’t remember who I was watching) but they actually said that they actually put sparkles in dark matte colours that are harder to get as pigmented because the sparkles actually make it more pigmented and easier to blend when formulating. I’m not sure if it’s true and I don’t understand the science behind it but thats why a lot of dark mattes have sparkles and the sparkles aren’t necessarily supposed to show up

I'm pretty sure they mean Gothic in it's original meaning.. European Medieval culture after the fall of the Roman Empire.. think St. Giles Cathedral and Glasgow Cathedral, the writings of Mary Shelley and Bram Stoker and decedant heavy fabrics, carved wood and walks on misty moors...
Not the Goth subculture.
But that's just the Artist in me and where my mind immediately went.. 🤔💜💜💜💜

I can say that this kind of looks is what I have seen goths wear for sure. I would've if I was still into it.
These days I prefer a bit more natural looks. Also I've got skin problems for a couple of years now.

This looks very cool however I’m not a massive purple fan. I’ve got the delights pallet and want to get the serenity pallet when it’s restocked but now very interested in the winter pallet.

I'm jumping online at 6pm tomorrow to get two one for me and one for my best friend for her birthday.
That glittery black would look amazing with a black smokey eye that you do. And when you put the gel liner down and smoke it out put a bit more on before you put that glittery black shade down and pat it on , the base will still be tacky so I reckon the sparkles would show up really well. I'm definitely going to be trying it .
And I don't need the winter palette BUT I have all the others so it would be rude not to buy the winter one as well. Will ask for if for my birthday me thinks 🤔❤xxx

Okay this palette is stunning. I need to replace my midnight Beauty Bay palette, so this is maybe all I need for that. Gonna wait for the other release, fingers crossed this doesnt sell out fast.
And is it gothic? Yes, these colors are what I could see at festivals like M'Era Luna and Amphi. But the range between pastel goth, classic goth and cyber goth is huge. And I am not that at home with all the subgenres so for sure its even bigger.
This palette is stunning! Sometimes you can get the sparkles in sparkly matte shadows to stay on the eyes when you apply them with a finger over a tacky base?

This look... 😲 So good. I do love this palette, but I don't think I need it... But I want it... And I think it will go so well with their other palettes so I imagine I will grab it 😂 the gothic side, did you see the pictures? With the grapes and velvet? I love that it is those colours. I think gothic as in fabrics and colours from gothic times rather than gothic blacks.
