Southgate is the only manager to win the opening game of the Euros, and he's done it twice. He's also won both his opening World Cup games. He's never failed to qualify, never gone out in the group stages, never lost to anyone embarrassing in a cup. His England teams have played in more knockout games, won more knockout games, and scored more goals in knockout games than any other England manager in history, in fact, in all three of those he's either beating every other England manager combined, or he's close to it. As for being boring, the 2 highest scoring England teams ever (goals per calendar year) was Southgate's in 2019 and 2021.
I do not understand people's problem with him for the life of me. I think maybe people just underestimate how boring it is to watch a manager play a very attacking team with loads of attacking players, and then watch them wandering around the pitch trying to get the ball back, and being too tired at 60 minutes to do anything with it anyway. I think Southgate will probably go after the Euros, whatever happens, and I'm very worried we'll go back to that. If you think this is a bad time to be an England fan you're in for a tough realisation when it's over.

He’s clearly a nice guy, and is possibly feeling the pressure of the job - which is a natural human emotion, especially given the mass of the job. You get the impression that he may struggle a bit with Anxiety, and when the whole of the country is giving him nothing but hate, I’m sure that must be really tough for him. He gets a lot of stick but he wants the same as we all do, to win. He tries his best. Had a couple of penalties gone the other way against Italy at the last Euros and we had won, he would have gone down as a legend. I think as fans, we really need to take the pressure of the managers and players, if we want to get the best from them. But this will clearly never happen, which is a shame. There is a reason why such a great team like England haven’t won anything since 1966, and I believe this is down to the immense pressure put on them by the fans. It’s easy for people to comment shit on a keyboard, but I’m pretty sure they would have a much different opinion if they were putting the shirts on and playing themselves.
Maybe it’s time for Southgate to step down after this tournament, if the pressure is too much for him. It may also be time to get some new blood in the management role, just to shake things up a bit. But If Southgate does go, I would be in the belief that he has done a fantastic job for England. Given that we got to the Semi’s last World Cup and the Final of the last Euros. He also invested heavily in the youth and chose to do a re-build at the correct time, which is the reason why we’ve got such a brilliant squad now.
Big up Southgate, best of luck for the tournament.

I think the focus and criticism of foden in the press and social media has been massively over the top. However (and this isnt necessarily a criticism) his reading of foden's perofrmance being hard working sums him up. I expect everyone in the team to work hard but to say foden was supporting the rest of the team whist they were breaking forward shows hoe tactically challenged we can be.

Everyone keeps saying how well Gareth Southgate is doing? ask yourself the question what the results might have looked like if the other past England Managers had this team today? and ok Gareth a good communicator but it is a shame we don’t see this with team selection and people playing in their natural position, not out of position, midfield is a major worry but if we have to leave Bellingham and Rice to carry the whole midfield through they will burn out very quickly, Phil Foden should have been taken off another mistake from Gareth, sorry Gareth we all have our right to an opinion and I am not impressed at all. If we get through to the next round and we play a solid team we will get punished very, very quickly. The team play fairly well for the first 30 minutes and the no desire apart from Bellingham been everywhere so you lot need to play with pride when you pull that shirt on for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
